Originally designed by Ralph Twitchell, one of the founding members of the Sarasota School of Architecture, this midcentury waterfront home is primely positioned in the heart of Sarasota on the shores of Phillippi Creek. With over 200 feet of peaceful shoreline enjoy quiet moments of bird watching or kayaking the calm waters. The elegant home pays homage to classic design including vaulted ceilings, large picture windows, and spacious rooms with built-ins and storage. Practical features include an oversized utility/laundry area, a fully remodeled kitchen with a contemporary, open concept layout. With over 2000 square feet this home features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms everyone can take advantage of their own space.

Beautiful midcentury waterfront home on Phillipi Creek is close to all that Sarasota has to offer. 5.4 miles to America's number 1 beach Siesta Key, and only a few short blocks from stores, nightlife, & other beaches. 4.8 miles to Sarasota downtown. This quaint getaway includes a kayak to enjoy the pure bliss of the calm waters of Phillipi Creek as well as a game room including a pool table, foosball table, and plenty seating areas to lounge around and chat.

Great location- amazing Sarasota house

We loved our stay here- thoroughly enjoyed the seating by the creek- lots of fun birds and fish to watch. Had fun in the game room, loved the well equipped kitchen and living area. We hope to be back!

Weekend stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique home. Sitting by the water each morning and evening was so peaceful. The rental feels more like a home than so many others I have stayed in. We had a fabulous weekend here.

This Is a beautiful home and perfect for families or a fun vacation with adults. We had everything we needed, everything was very clean and the home was very spacious. The game room and huge yard with a peaceful waterfront was a huge bonus!! The owners were great with communication and quick to respond. I would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect in every way

This could not have been a more perfect everything. No matter the age or interests, it was absolutely amazing!! It’s in the middle of Sarasota and an older neighborhood, but it feels very secluded and private. Would recommend 100%!

We have stayed here a few times. Have always found it clean and comfortable. It is spacious and has a mid-century vibe. It sits on a nice private lot backing to a river.

Great Backyard

Privacy Is hard to come by in Sarasota. This property has nice backyard to relax in with the river running through it. The game room kept our kids entertained as well.

Nice Oasis away from home!

My family came for our grandmother's 90th birthday! The host made this experience the best we have ever had! Super accommodating and attentive to detail. The house was super clean and inviting. The beds were super comfy as well! The pool was fabulous! We will be staying with this host again! Thank you for an unforgettable stay! ❤️ again upon our return!

Beautiful appointed Creek front property

This property is a gem, there are plenty of space for family and bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped with all you need. Downstairs pool table and foosball were a hit with my boys. Outdoor space is absolutely perfect for older kids and we even saw manatees one morning

Perfect property!

Everything from the amazing mid-century decor to the gorgeous outdoor space, amazing views from every single window . . . just perfect. Saw an iguana, many manatee and loved the squirrels and birds, didn’t use the game room much but was a definite bonus.

Wonderful waterfront home!

Traveled to Sarasota with my sister and our young adult children to see our elderly parents. This home was such a treat and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We loved being on Philippi Creek with use of kayaks and sitting out by the water. Growing up in Sarasota this home was a gem and brought back memories being close to my high school. Would definitely stay here again and wish we owned this awesome home! Thanks to Liceth for sharing such a treasure and keeping the original retro home design in tact.

Loved the Architecture

Paradise

We LOVED staying at Riverview Estates property ID 1642531. It is a beautiful house with everything you need and more. The property is also beautiful and quiet and peaceful. If you stay here you will not want to leave. The host Liceth is the sweetest person. I even locked us out and she was so nice about getting us back in. The house and the property are maintained beautifully. This place is paradise. Thank you so much Liceth !!! you were great and we had the best vacation

Cool digs in South Sarasota

This place is so cool. Loved the architecture, layout of the space, and vibe of the decor. This trip was a golf foursome, so we didn’t spend a ton of time at the house during the day. It was perfect for evenings with plenty of space and comfortable seating. Kitchen was great to hang around and tell stories from the day. Everyone had their own bedroom which was nice. House is everything we needed for the visit. Highly recommended!

Perfect place for our family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Twitchell House! The house is well worn but clean and well maintained. It comfortably slept four adults and three teens and there was plenty of room for lounging. The teens really enjoyed pool, darts, and foosball in the game room downstairs (the pool table has seen better days but we still had fun with it). The property backs on to Philippi Creek which makes for a lovely setting - we enjoyed watching the great blue herons and fish jumping while sipping bevies under the Florida sun and palm trees on the patio. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away but only a 3-5 minute drive to the grocery store and other amenities. Siesta Key and all Sarasota beaches are 15-20 away (but go early because parking and traffic get worse as the day goes on). We also made day trips to St. Pete’s, Tampa, & St. Armand’s to the North and Nokomis/Venice to the South. Liceth is a kind and responsive host and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Ideal house for family getaway

A wedding brought us to Sarasota and this house was the perfect landing pad for extended family. Two couples, a teen, and a grandmother had plenty of space in the well-appointed bedrooms and found the kitchen and living space to be flexible and comfortable. The lower level game room and outdoor space was a hit. We fished, kayaked, saw manatee and gators, and hosted a nail-biting family pool tournament. Lots of memories were made thanks to this rental!

Spring Stay

Very interesting house with a lot of open space and very comfortable outside sitting. Lots of wild life in the hedges and creek. The kitchen appliances are definitely high end with the game room an added bonus.

Great House

We visited Sarasota over labor day weekend. It was 3 couples in the house. There was plenty of space for us and we were all very comfortable. The house looks exactly like the pictures. There's so much natural light, which I love. I don't think the pictures featured the bedrooms much. There's one master, two other rooms, and then a smaller room that's really not a bedroom but does have a sofa in it. So I'd say it's really a 3 bedroom house with an entertainment room that could double as a 4th room in a pinch. The kitchen is well stocked with the utensils that you would need for cooking. There's a big creek right behind the house and Kayaks on the property that we used over the weekend. So much fun! The host is super available through the app and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Sarasota.
