ROMANTIC COUPLES ESCAPE

Our cabin is not a place to stay while you are on vacation... our cabin is the vacation. You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, romantic place to just unwind.

Are you looking for a cozy, and quiet get-away spot to rest and relax? Our little TranquiliTree Cabin is the perfect spot! Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien, WI and Ferryville, WI, this little A- frame cabin gets you within 5 minutes from the river but allows you to be tucked back away in a quiet wooded area. (Please note that there is about a mile of gravel that is maintained in order to get to the cabin. The driveway itself is blacktopped.) It is 900 square feet of pure relaxation and nature! Enjoy your morning coffee in the outdoor room while you watch the deer and birds, relax by the fire pit, and at night cozy up to the wood burning stove and the views of the trees. The loft has a king sized bed but there is also a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room as well as an ottoman that pulls out into a single cot.

Relaxing Stay

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the Tranquil Tree Cabin. The cabin is tucked away among the trees. It's a cozy welcoming cabin with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. We made use of the wood burning stove, made breakfast each day, watched movies and enjoyed coffee at the breakfast bar. It was hazy while we were there but we still enjoyed the tree views and outline of the bluffs.

Staying in the woods

Had a wonderful relaxing stay. Cabin is nestled right in the woods. A lot of birds to see . Did see some turkeys and deer. Remember that you're in the woods so there is a few little bugs or critters that come along with that environment. The bed was comfortable and there was enough amenities to go about our day. environmentalong wit a and a deer and some few turkeys.

We had a great experience- clean cabin comfortable bed very quiet & secluded with lots of nature to enjoy. Close enough to any activity you want to do. We would recommend & return!

Cabin in woods

The surroundings were secluded and quiet. The cabin had everything you would need. The s'more station was a nice touch. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the outdoors.

Amazing Couple's Get A Way!

Our kids were going to visit some relatives, and SW Wisconsin was a halfway point for us to meet. Instead of driving back, my wife and I decided to find a cozy cabin in the woods and spend time together. After we handed off the kids, we went to the grocery store in Prairie Du Chien and bought enough food for the weekend so we wouldn't have to go out. The weekend was absolutely lovely! The cabin is down in the woods so we didn't see another person or even hear a car drive by the whole time. We felt totally on our own. We hung out in the cabin the entire time with the exception of grilling dinner out on the gas grill. It was a little buggy, but what do you expect from being in the forest! Everything we wanted or needed was in the cabin. The Wi-Fi worked great, so we could kick back and watch a little TV. That also allowed us to make calls since cell service is very spotty there. We were able to kick back and relax, play games, and enjoy each other's company while looking out the glass doors at the wooded area around the cabin. Everything was very comfortable. When the time came to check out, we didn't want to leave. The time was so enjoyable that we hope to make this an annual event!

Away from the rat race

If you need a place that is quiet and away from the daily rat race, this is it. The cabin is tucked away in the woods and the only visitors are the birds and the squirrels. The cabin is well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Cabin in Spring

Spring at this cozy cabin was wonderful as wildflowers emerged and migrating and local birds filled the forest with their beautiful song and nesting activities. After a day of hiking, we relaxed with a campfire under the brilliant star filled sky as the barred owl hooted with its new fledging nearby. Heidi is so easy to communicate with, but just like our first two stays at this cabin, we had no issues. The owners make it easy to have a very enjoyable, peaceful stay!

Quiet, perfect getaway

Easy directions, great location. Excellent area for birding. Quiet, comfortable, clean, and beautifully stocked. The hot cocoa bar was a fun surprise!

Get away

It was a cute place. We loved our time here. Not that it was a big deal we just thought it could have been cleaned a little better. Dusty and cobwebs. The dishwasher isn’t attached to anything so when you load it you have to be careful or the racks will roll out onto the floor. The front screen door needs to be replaced. We loved the wildlife and being out in the woods.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

The cabin was clean and warm, and provided the perfect setting to get away after the holidays. The property itself is tucked away in the woods, and only a short drive from a number of excellent hiking trails. Also, the kitchen actually has functional cutlery and cookware (unlike many rentals I've seen) to make cooking during your stay easy and enjoyable. I would definitely stay at TranquiliTree again.

Beautiful in Fall

Our second stay at this lovely cabin was wonderful! The owners thought of everything to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The peaceful setting of the cabin is beautiful with the bluffs ablaze with fall colors. We hiked by day and sat out with a campfire at night with a sky filled with stars above us. We hope to return next year!

An amazing retreat

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay using it both as a place to go explore near by attractions and using the cabin as a wonderful quiet retreat. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back to the area next year. Hopefully this cabin or the owners other one will be available.

Just what we were looking for!

We came during 2 rainy days, but didn’t matter to us as we just wanted to enjoy the cabin and time together. The cabin had everything we needed for just me and my wife. Great location and the owners have thought of everything to make it a enjoyable and restful stay. Would come again!

Kevin and Heidi have been high school sweethearts and have been married for 20years. Heidi grew up in Decorah, Iowa and Kevin in Ossian, Iowa. We live with our family of 6 in Ossian, Iowa. Our oldest four children (William, Dawn, Sami, and Anita) came to us via foster care. We opened our homes and our hearts and we were blessed to welcome them into our family. Then came our son Trevin also via a foster care placement and finally came our youngest Ella. Kevin hauls mail for the US Postal Service and Heidi works as an elementary school social worker. Our family is a super busy family and decided that we need a quiet and relaxing place to go as a family and as a couple.
