Private Suite with Pool - Newly Decorated - Centrally Located

Enjoy your stay at our centrally located private home in a well-established neighborhood. This newly decorated Suite has one queen bed, a sitting area and a large private bathroom. You stroll down a path surrounded by lilies and amaryllis to come to a gated entrance. You will go down 4 short steps to the room. The Suite is close to several popular restaurants, cafes, and shopping.
Soak up the sun by the pool or watch hummingbirds at the many feeders hung in the patio.
Take a morning walk to Einstein Bagels for breakfast - only 2 blocks away.
The city bus stop is ½ block away and the Trolly is a short mile walk which makes it convenient if you are without a car. If you have a car there is plenty of street parking.
It's only 3-5 minutes to major freeways; I-8, I-15 and 805. Visiting students at college? SDSU is right across the freeway about a mile away.
We are only 15 minutes to the Airport (SAN), Beaches, Bays, Downtown, Old Town, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World, Coronado, Petco Park and the Convention Center.
Head North for 30 minutes to Safari Park and 35 minutes to Legoland.
Head East for 40 minutes to our beautiful Mountain Ranges. Head South for 30 minutes to another country, Tijuana, Mexico.
Love shopping? It's 10 minutes to major shopping malls and our new Snapdragon Stadium.
We are very centrally located so there is no end to the great places in San Diego that you are able to visit.
If peace and quiet is what you are looking for then this is the place for you. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and the double pane windows keep all sounds out.
Feel free to use the pool. Floats and pool towels are provided.

Great Emergency Response

My brother had a medical emergency while we were visiting and I needed to vacate the premises in order to get single level accommodations. Niki was most accommodating, understanding, and provided a stress-free experience. The best!

Only 6 minutes drive from our grandson and his parents. We loved being so close to them! Would definitely stay here again if available for our next trip. ☺️

Close to SD State University

The property was fine, but nothing special. Although located close to SD State, you could not walk to it, so I had to use lots of ride apps. I arrived early and the owners let me drop off my suitcase which was kind.

Comfortable and friendly.

Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to highway. Just as advertised at a reasonable rate. Hosts very friendly. Helpful if needed. Clean. We had great weather so really enjoyed the pool each day. Small if you spend all your time there, but perfect home base for activities in the area.

Perfect location to visit SDSU

I stayed here during sophomore drop off. My daughter stayed with me the first two nights. This room was such an easy location, it was very quiet and comfortable, with lovely touches. Niki and Randy were wonderfully welcoming and I would stay here again! So nice looking out at the pool and hummingbirds. Parking was delightfully easy right in front of the house. I discovered Windmill Farms market has great ready to eat options to grab and go. The only caveat is that the room is accessed via an outdoor staircase down and around the side of the house--anyone with mobility issues/temporary knee problem might need to consider that. But for jetting back and forth to campus this was absolutely perfect!!

Niki and Randy are the best!

This little suite was the perfect place to stay while getting my daughter settled into SDSU. The room worked out great and Randy and Niki were the perfect hosts. We even swam in the pool! We will definitely stay here again when visiting San Diego.

A nice space

We enjoyed our stay very much! It was easy to walk to breakfast and get Ubers whenever we needed. The hosts were extremely accommodating by letting us leave our bags at the property before check in so we didn’t have to carry them all day upon our arrival. We would definitely recommend this place!

Randy and Niki were sweet. Very accommodating I was hesitant to be so close to a host in proximity. It worked out well. Clean, easy, close to everything. Great location we always found ourselves against traffic here.

Graduation for grandaughter

We were attending a graduation at San Diego State. This apt was very close but also located in a very quiet neighborhood. Hosts were were wonderful and even welcomed us with warm cupcakes that she had made. Lots of ammenties such as pool, grill , gazebo etc which we did not use due to graduation events planned. Very quiet as we were the only apt used as the the owners also lived in the house. Apt was clean and just what we needed for a short stay. Would rent again when or if we return to SD.

Weekend Excursion

In town for a convention in Anaheim, but wanted to visit my brother in La Mesa. This property checked all the boxes when looking and fulfilled them on arrival! Clean, well appointed, easy travel to downtown San Diego, San Diego beaches, Torrey Pines, and other attractions. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Host (Niki) was very nice. Gave exact instructions for check-in so there was no confusion. Suite was the perfect size for 2 people. Sleeping was great with the quiet neighborhood. Oversized shower with seating area is a plus. Has small microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Just right! The queen bed while not firm was still alright! Small closet area. Everything was very clean. Thank you! While the weather was too cold still for the pool, it is available with plenty of room around it. I appreciate the hospitality, see you next time! Dave G.

Everything was as advertised. The only negative was the bed. Mattress a bit too firm and uncomfortable due to a plastic mattress cover. It was stiff and hot.
