We envite you to enjoy your own private oasis by the beach. Cozy Studio with ideal location, quiet residential neighborhood. Beach and surfing just 2 1/2 blocks away. Restaurants, Bars, Coffee Shops, within walking distance. Full kitchen. Private entrance and lovely fenced patio area in back, surrounded by bamboo, jasmine and honeysuckle. Biking distance to downtown LaJolla and Mission Bay. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is no extra pet fee. Parking for 2 cars in driveway under canopy. Everything you need to enjoy the beach life provided; two bikes, beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards. Chips, Salsa and ingredients for 2 welcome margaritas in your room on arrival.

Location location location! Quick walk to the beach and local grub. Close to La Jolla and Mission Bay as well. Super clean, quiet and CUTE! Covered parking spot is a plus also. Loved it.

such a cute place to stay in a perfect spot on the beach, everything we needed was within walking distance. hosts were super accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night due to our travel plans changing due to the wildfires in LA. would definitely stay again.

Great Place!

This was perfect for 2 people to stay for a small vacation. It’s very close to the beach and restaurants! And we loved the bikes to ride around town and on the path right by the beach!

Great Spot

Had a great stay at the Tourmaline Beach Studio. It's a perfect spot in a great part of town, close to the beach and local restaurants. The beach cruisers were a great perk as the boardwalk is only a few blocks away. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town. It's a great place for a single person or couple.

Annual vacay

We vacation every year in San Diego. This is our second stay at the tourmaline beach studio and we loved it just as much this year as last. It is the perfect walking distance to Tourmo. Alisa is always great with making sure everything we need for our stay is available. We are already looking forward to our stay in 2025!

Loved this stay and will bookmark it for future trips back to San Diego! Margaritas on arrival + chips and salsa. Walkable to the beach. Perfect spot for a couples home base for a weekend adventure.

This place has everything you need

The parking is probably the biggest draw for this place. Parking can be difficult in neighborhoods like this, and being able to pull right up to the door is a relief after a long day out. And we loved the shower! Alisa is kind and considerate, any questions and she is right on it. Lots of walkable stores and restaurants, and of course, the beach is so close!

Hidden Gem

Perfect home base for exploring San Diego. In Ultra Hip Pacific Beach, most everything was in convenient walking distance. The beach bungalow is cute and functional. Lots of nice touches like welcome Margaritas and chips and salsa. Alisa and Darren were right next door and communication was A plus. We enjoyed the back garden as well as the undercover parking space. Very artsy and exceptionally well equipped. We had a blast and will ask to stay here again without any hesitation!

Weekend getaway

We stayed for two nights and loved the studio. We rode bikes to the beach multiple times and also walked, the location was perfect. The studio was quiet, clean and comfy and the margaritas and chips were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

My friend and I loved this place. Perfect for 1-2 people, sooooo adorable with lovely artwork, indoor and outdoor showers and the indoor one looks like a sauna with wood floors and walls, the patio is so cute and has a table and a swing bench, and they even had tequila shots and chips with salsa waiting for us! 5 million stars. Thank you so much to the owners, I will absolutely be back. The only tiny negative feedback I would give is for the owners to please clean out the old spider webs in a few of the corners. I almost did it myself since they were so wonderful but I just didn’t get around to it :)

Wonderful studio close to the beach. Property has everything you need for a nice beach vacation. Close to the beach and some great restaurants. Hosts are fantastic and check in/out was a breeze. Will definitely be back!

We had 24 hours in San Diego and this property was perfect. Being close to the ocean and having off street parking is such a win. The beach studio is so cute, margaritas and chips with salsa was an added bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the shower, seriously it is amazing. Communication with the host was top notch. I’m looking forward to our next visit and hopefully staying here.

Great Stay!

I have now stayed here two times times! I really enjoyed both of my great vacations here! Alisa is a very responsive host and the check in is so easy! It's a very short walk to Tourmaline Beach and lots of fun to watch all the surfers there! My little dog Cooper had a great time too! Thanks for everything, Alisa!

Love this place

This place was exactly as advertised. Very close to beach, restaurants, shops and bars. We rode the bikes that are provided to the beach which is no more than a 5 minute ride. Kitchen area and BBQ on patio make for an option to do all meals in if you choose. We will definitely be back. We loved the place and loved the location!
