Cute and simple. Newly redecorated with a theme of flow and comfort. It’s an older home with newer features while maintaining that quaint character only older houses have. Like knowing a secret that can never be revealed. Book this house and expect a cozy comfortable stay away from home. Spacious living, dining room combination with two bedrooms off living/dining area. There are two queen sized beds in one room and one queen in other bedroom. Bathroom is very basic with shower stall, also new washer/dryer in bathroom. Kitchen has new stove and refrigerator and is large enough to prepare and plan gourmet family meal. New 55” TV hangs on wall opposite sectional sofa. Cozy down and watch Netflix. See photos for a more concise visual.

Great stay. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood with plenty of easy street parking. The host was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable trip.

Sister's trip

New Albany was a nice place to stay. Plenty of nice restaurants. The neighborhood the house is in okay, but not one you want to for a walk in. House had nice deck on back that we spent time on as the weather was great.

Family of 6

Very cute house and spacious rooms. Kids were excited to find snacks and drinks, especially after a long trip there. House is super clean and well stocked with all items you might need for your trip. Had everything I needed in the kitchen and washer/dryer worked fabulous. Great stay for a family!

Convenient and cozy

The house is close to lots of shopping and the beautiful downtown area. Patricia was easy to deal with and had answers for all my questions.

Beautiful spacious home. Very comfortable beds, great quality and quantity of linens, enjoyed having cold water in fridge when we arrived as well as little cartons of milk for our little ones. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening on the porch as well. An Awesome Place on State Street

This property was excellent and really fit the needs for 6 people. The only downside is a second bathroom would be nice, but we all made it work with no issues. Many Stores and restaurants close to the facility. Patricia was awesome!

Wonderful stay at my mom’s childhood home.

So glad they turned the property into a vacation rental. It was my mom’s childhood home. She last stayed here 54 years ago before moving at 26. I brought her, my dad and brother and sister back for a funeral and we were able to rent it. How cool is that? We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the house was very clean and accommodating. Pat was wonderful too with the easy check in and hospitality. I would definitely recommend renting the property.

What a great find. My sister and I stayed in the house in January. The house was super clean and comfortable. When we walked in the door there was music playing and there was a handwritten note on the table welcoming us to the place. There were some snacks and water in the fridge and some meals in the freezer. Patricia is a joy to talk to and she was very helpful when I needed her assistance. I look forward to staying there again the next time I’m in New Albany. Highly recommend.

Run down neighborhood

We arrived at the house and the host was attentive and responsive. However there is absolutely no way I would feel comfortable in the neighborhood. There was homeless people sitting in the front yard. Street parking only. I can’t believe no one has reviewed about this.

It is unfortunate this guest had an unpleasant experience The house has received excellent reviews for the past 3 years because as host I am concerned for the welfare and comfort of guests. The neighborhood is private residences, surrounding neighbors living there for many years. Possibly there may have been someone resting on the public area between the house and street. New Albany like so many areas does have its share of homeless people. There are facilities open to assist people in need of services, food and help. House is on corner lot, across the street is well maintained private lot comparable to mini park. Parking is private and ample.

Great place with personalized hospitality

We were on a road trip from Texas with our two small children. The set up was perfect. Great space. It was nice to be able to do a load of laundry. Patricia left a little surprise for my kids and snacks, water milk and eggs in the fridge, which was just so thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Perfect

Patrician was very fast in responding and very accommodating. We were driving to IN to visit my son for the holidays. He works and only had Christmas Day. It was the first Christmas together in 5 years. There was bad weather so we left to get there early not knowing what snow accumulation would be. We arrived earlier than expected. Patricia graciously accommodated us. This was a huge relief after my husband drove 10 hours with a two large dogs and a teen. The house was adorable and immaculate. We were greeted with a gift for us and for the dogs. It really made me feel welcomed. The location was very quiet and we had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for helping make this Christmas perfect.

Pat answered all questions in a timely manner. Information was provided for check in/out and WIFI. The house was clean and well taken care of. I recommend this property and will request it for my next visit.

Perfect house in the perfect small town.

Perfect house in the perfect small town. We chose this house because it is dog friendly but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t clean and comfortable. And the bonus was the town of New Albany is so cute and so many places to walk the dogs. Cute downtown and great parks.

Great stay

This rental was the perfect spot for a few friends to spend a low-key night catching up. Close to restaurants and other amenities, too!

2 Bedrooms NOT 3 Bedrooms

The host was nice and house was clean. I expected 3 bedrooms as it is listed but found out it was only 2 bedrooms. The bedroom doors slide and have 2” gaps around the sides so there is no privacy. And house is right off of a Main Street so it is noisy at night and day with constant traffic. We were a bit concerned with the neighborhood.

It was a nice house to stay in. Very close to anything you would want to visit in the area. Parking was very convenient. It was on a busy street, so u do hear cars driving by, but if ur not a light sleeper it shouldn’t be a bother

New Albany Gem

Very nice house in a small town that's not too far from Louisville. We were in town for the races at Churchill Downs and didn't want to stay in downtown. This house was perfect. Short commute to the races, close to gas stations/restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Easy to get to and New Albany is a very cute town. I was very impressed with the house and how easy is was to get to. The owner kept in touch with us throughout our stay. Thank you!

Great house

Patricia was fantastic and responsive. The house was very clean and well-kept, it was perfect for an event like the Derby where you're close enough to Louisville to be convenient but not have to pay outlandish prices. And New Albany is a really fun, eclectic town - lots of personality and unique restaurants, it was a fun weekend overall.
