The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Replaced and brought us anything extra we needed for the stay. Great stay for the price.

Cute place, easy access to everywhere

Easy to get to, comfortable, we enjoyed it! Do be aware that it is near a busy airport and its flight paths.

Close to KY Fair & Expo

Had a great stay, the home was clean and central all our activities. Our host was very easy to work with. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Spring break

House was in a wonderful location and made it super easy to get everywhere. Owner communicated very well and was clean.

Wonderful House and Terrific Host

We enjoyed this property. It was very clean. The backyard is large and cozy with privacy fences all around. The host was very attentive and kind.

Owner dropped everything and came out to fix an issue at 11:30 PM. We appreciated the attention he gave the matter and his willingness to help out given the late night.

Convenient location for Kentucky Derby

The house was clean and ready on time. Communication with the host was timely. The location of the house was very convenient to get to the racetrack for the Kentucky Derby. The only thing we suggested be replaced is the couch in the family room as it did not have much life left to it. It was broken and seemed unstable. The owners left us a very nice welcome gift upon arrival. Would stay here again for the convenience to the Derby.

Stay in Louisville

We had a great stay in Louisville. The property was just as the pictures indicated. Fredie was a great host - from the welcome e-mail to the easy instructions to check out. Thanks for the great stay!

As advertised

Great location. Close to airport, highway, and church hill downs. Nice backyard to relax in. No dishwasher but that was expected. Front door could use some new hinges to cut down on the creaking when going in and out.

Bourbon Trail Stay

We didn't spend much time at the house but it was sufficient for our needs. Back yard looked nice enough if you needed a place to hang out.

Did not enjoy

The owner didn’t inform me that he had cameras on property until 3 days before I was supposed to check-in and with that it felt like the owner was watching me and my friends every move and it felt very uncomfortable definitely wouldn’t recommend for any women or family’s with female children.

This response is to inform all the guests reviewing this comment on what really happen. "Jade & Mason TV" (Not sure their real name) rented our house for 2 nights. They threw a party not 1 but 2 nights in a row. They smoked weed in my house and broke a window trying to vent the smoke while a window a/c unit was installed. We only have exterior cameras for everyones safety. They are mad because the camera caught all the people coming into our house and shows them walking out with lit cigarettes. Please look at my other reviews. This is not a good representation of our house or us as hosts. We always provide a 5 star experience. It's unfortunate that a few unruly guests can ruin it for everyone.

Great location and responsive owners

This house is perfectly located to go to events at the Kentucky Expo Center, Churchill Downs, and the university of Louisville. It is easy to get to and is two blocks from a shopping center with a large Kroger. The owners responded very quickly to questions and requests. Fredie and Tiffany came to fix squeaky doors same day I asked and also brought a drink pitcher to replace one no longer there. The white noise machines in the upstairs bedrooms were helpful. The upstairs has a/c window units in all 3 bedrooms. The stairs to the second floor are narrow, steep and easy to slip on going down. A warning for light sleepers: there are trains going by often day and night, and sometimes many UPS airplanes fly overhead around 4 to 5 am. Two of our five nights the planes kept me awake, but they did not disturb the rest of the family. We would definitely stay here again.

For some reason Carol decided to leave a negative review with no explanation. I wasn't able to get ahold of her the whole time she was at the property. or afterward to see what the issue was. As you can tell from other reviews we have a 5 star property.
