Two acres of private property with lush greenery and heated pool in the heart of horse country. Sleeps up to 6 with 3 BRs and 2.5 bath. Den with TV and large Living Room with TV & stereo system. Large eat in kitchen with separate dining room. Central air conditioned, washer dryer. Backyard has heated pool with patio and deck and comfortable lounge chairs and outdoor eating area. Weber propane BBQ on the deck. Close by to Goshen Fairgrounds, Lime Rock Raceway, Music Mountain, antique shops, numerous hiking trails and lakes. 30 minutes to the Berkshires, 15 minutes to Litchfield, 45 minutes to Tanglewood. 15 minutes to Tyler Lake if bringing boat. Skiing nearby for winter getaway.

Lovely quiet beautiful tranquil

Almost everything one needs is there… there were a few glitches but the owners responded quickly in resolving the issues that came up. Most helpful indeed… this is our second stay and we will look forward to another next summer. Dry pretty setting nestled in the woods but close to all Litchfield area has to offer

Beautiful Vacation Home in Connecticut

This home was fabulous! The grounds, the house, the pool and deck were wonderful. We were 6 adults who were looking for a place to unwind, swim in the pool, lounge on the deck and barbeque every evening. The kitchen was outstanding and the den and living room, both with tv's gave us so much space to lounge inside. The dining room was very big and really made our dining experience a pleasure.The beds were comfortable and the whole house was nicely decorated, clean and very inviting. Can't wait to return next year. The owners were very helpful and nice. An altogether great experience.

Fantastic property

This is a beautiful property, well located, and well provisioned. It gets our highest recommendation. Our only quibble is that Covid is over, and a fully equipped rental should now include sheets and towels.

BYO sheets and towels

We thought that for a rental costing much more than a nice hotel, COVID should not be used as an excuse for not supplying sheets and towels. At least not at this point where mask wearing is rare. Otherwise it was a fine, clean house in a very pleasant rural spot. 15min to Mohawk Mtn skiing. Accommodations were nice but nothing luxurious. The master bedroom has a very small "master" bathroom with room for one person at a time, and a larger adjoining bathroom meant for the the use of the other two bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped including an induction cooktop, but there is only a Keurig coffeemaker with a limited number of capsules and no regular coffeemaker that we would have used with the coffee we had brought. The water heater broke on our first night, but it hopefully will be replaced by the time the next renter arrives. The owner offered a $200 refund in a gesture for our short “army” showers. All in all, 4 stars, not 5.

Great time in the pool

Perfect rental if you want a nice house with a great pool. There is not so much around, which was good for us. It would be perfect for 3 couples or a family with kids. My family and my sister’s family stayed the week and the 3 cousins swam all day.
