This is my second time staying at Timber root. It's close to downtown and the cute St. Elmo neighborhood. It's nice that each cabin has it's own hot tub and now they have goats which I just loved! Would definitely stay here again when I return to Chattanooga.

Sophie was a nice place with all the amenities. Easy check-in/out. Host communicated well. Close to everything we wanted to do. Loved it was right next to the fire pit.

Great stay

Was a great stay! Close to the aquarium and downtown! Loved the trains and over all a nice place. I wouldn’t want to go when it is busy season do to how close the cabins are together! Over all a great place for family!

What a great experience! Adorable tiny cabin in the woods. My friends and I had a wonderful time staying the night here. The cabin was so clean, cute, and cozy. Communication with the owners was easy and seamless. The location was perfect for what we needed. We definitely hope to come again!

The Perfect Spot

Sophie cabin is a perfect setup for a family of four. We stayed for two nights and the cabin was very well appointed, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located right near downtown.

We loved our stay at the Sophie Cabin. It was a beautiful cabin and very close to downtown but private enough away to feel away from the city. Highly recommend!

Birthday Getaway

This was our second time staying here at the Sophie cabin. Both times it was clean and cozy. Highly recommend for a small trip or even a good vacation with your family! Looking forward to bringing our kiddos next time!

Great getaway

We stayed overnight for a trip to the local aquarium. We arrived and had a lovely time. The kids loved the hot tub and the choice of a bunk house or a loft. We loved the space was clean, had everything we needed and felt cozy and comfortable.

Exactly as described and a bit more

We were stopping through the area during travels and had a great stay. It was perfect for our family of 4 and would be great for even a large family. We had so much extra space and our one and three year old had several great places for sleeping.

Nice place.

Easy to find and a nice place. I thought it would be more difficult to get back on the main road but it was easy. My kids loved the little trail and bridge. Will stay here again when we come back to Chattanooga!

Weekend getaway with small kids

The tiny cabin was in a great location. The property was clean and they had all the necessities. The only negatives we encountered were a dirty hot tub and and some bug problems (I think mostly due to the heavy rains in the area). But overall, the loft space was great and the cabin met our needs for our short vacation!
