Tidewater Beach Resort is an astounding place for you to base yourself as you explore the Florida panhandle, Panama City Beach & the Emerald Coast! This 26th floor condo is incredibly inviting after long days at the beach playing in the surf and catching rays. You will absolutely love your private balcony views of the water and sands as well as the full kitchen where you can whip up a tasty snack. Settle down in the evening and watch a movie on the 50” flatscreen TV in the living room. This home has everything you need for an excellent stay including central AC and WiFi. Recent updates include new shower doors.

Utilize the outdoor and indoor pools on-site as well as the fitness center, sauna, hot tubs, theater, game room, and shared grill. Pier Park is just a mile away in addition to many restaurants and bars. And of course, the complex is just steps from the beach!

THINGS TO KNOW
Reservations from March through October include beach service (two chairs and one umbrella).
Guest Registration is required for all guests. Guest registration includes parking passes and RFID wristbands. Failure to register will result in being denied check-in. Registration information will be provided in the confirmation email after booking.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 26.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Beautiful views right on the ocean

Pros: Beautiful ocean view from the 26th floor, the bed and couch were very comfortable, the furniture was nice but needs drink coasters for the LR, having a large refrigerator with water/ice dispenser was a definite plus Cons: The elevator is right outside the bedroom so it is a little noisy; the light coming thru the bedroom window was bright and definitely needs black out curtains: this unit needs a pizza pan and cutter as many families eat in... overall, I would stay here again.

2606 Condo at Tidewater

View was amazing, bed was the worst I’d ever laid in. Showers were dirty and furniture was disgusting. Had to put towels down just to be able to sit on them. The condo had a terrible smell. We had to get candles to get the smell out. The counters had dried food on them and the condo was worn and outdated. Elevators were fine and parking was good. Everyone wore masks and obeyed that law. The condo leaves a lot to be desired

Our refrigerator wasn't working, which I completely understand. Things happen, but Vassar response was terrible. They brought a mini fridge which was not what we needed, and then they requested receipts for ice and groceries. A replacement is what we needed!!!!

Great place for solo vacation!

I stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed my time here. The beach service being included is a definite perk, and was greatly enjoyed! While you still need to get in line early to make sure you get the row/area you want, not having to carry chairs and an umbrella down to the beach every day is extremely convenient. The unit itself was exactly as pictured, more than enough room for my stay, and was perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, and the ice maker filled my personal sized cooler perfectly each day. Only slight inconvenience was the elevator situation, but once you figure out the “peak times”, it’s very easy to plan around them and get quick elevator service. Will definitely come back and stay, this time for more than 4 nights!

It's a good location on the beach. It just had more of a hotel feel to it. There were dirty rags on the master bathroom floor and one on the shower floor. It was evident that they had just washed the floors throughout which i appreciated. The elevator was a nightmare. My literal nightmare being in a small elevator with 18 people. No exaggeration. Every time it took 15 minutes for the elevator to get to me and would have to cram in with at least 12 to 18 people. A huge safety risk. If you could fix the elevator situation I would give it 5 stars. As it is I don't think I will book anything in the Tidewater building.

Renters Beware!!!!

The condo it’s self needs a good cleaning, very little dish/pot/utensils selections, and no hair dryer. We’ve been renting condos for years and this is by far the worst one and it was the most expensive one we’ve rented! SO THE REASON IM GIVING IT 2 STARS!! The air conditioner went out and was off for a little over 24 hrs! We called VACASA and they sent someone out but they were unable to access breaker box (a board was screwed to the wall covering it) and said they would have to come back with a screwdriver. Ok WELL THEY NEVER CAME BACK TO FIX IT!! Thankful we found a maintenance guy for the Tidewater (not with Vacasa) that came right up and was trouble shooting it. He did get it working!! But there is a part that needs to be replaced. It was working when we left but Basically it’s a “ticking time bomb” till it goes off again.

The condo was nice except that the refrigerator didn’t work. They brought in a loaner, but it was only waist high to me and didn’t have ice. The room shouldn’t have been rented without a refrigerator. We had a clogged drain in the big shower and they came quickly to fix it.

Dirty but great location and layout.

Nasty smell when we opened the door. Food hand prints on the refridgerator doors. No response from owner. After we bought cleaning products and cleaned the place, sprayed the carpet and let it air out it was a great place to stay.

Overall a nice place

I guess my only complaint is the same as most. That would be the elevator situation. I understand this is a large building with lots of units so you will have to wait for it most of the time. However at all times there are some elevators that are"closed for maintenance" if they were all in working order that would be great. At times we waited for at least 30 minutes which can be frustrating. As I stated if all elevators were in working order that would help tremendously.

Summer getaway

The condo we a great place for a quick escape. Our only feedback would be for some blackout currents in the Master to avoid the hall light from shining in at night. Otherwise it was perfect for the two of us.

View was great! But the condo itself was just okay... furnishings out of date, handles missing from dresser and night stand, missing bed linens for sofa bed, rusted balcony furniture and overall just okay.
