Very attentive hosts. Beautiful place. Peaceful and very clean. Tremendous effort to decorate cabin and care for details visible anywhere you look. Well equipped. Thank you for the stay.

Great place to stay unless you don’t like steep stairs to get to the mater bedroom. We didn’t mind it at all but just know about it.

Thank you for your kind review! Yes, the ladder stairs to the loft are a little steep, but if you’re pretty agile, they are not a problem. The spiral staircase leading to the lower level bedroom is much easier to navigate for people who cannot do steep stairs.😃 We would love to have you stay with us again sometime. Take care!

I stayed in the gatekeeper cabin for near 30 days due to health reasons. The property is relaxing, which certainly was a healing experience. Ted and Lori were wonderful hosts. The wonderful grounds, the beautiful cabin and the amazing hosts made what could have been a horrible experience into something I will enjoy remembering.

Great place to stay for a quiet winter weekend. We loved the trails in the woods and walking on the frozen lake. The house was clean, bed comfortable, and kitchen well equipped. The hosts were friendly and available if we needed anything. We will be looking to book in the future!

We had a great time at the cottage. Very quaint, cozy, and comfortable - perfect for two couples. Perfect location for connecting to the UTV trails. Lori was headed out for a walk and stopped by to introduce herself and chat. Nice trail down to the lake. Lori and Ted were perfect hosts- prompt correspondence before our stay as well as upon arrival and throughput our stay.

Amazing interior and decor; comfy beds and setup; environment outdoors was pleasant. Boats & access were a bit disappointing with lack of access to the water.

Anniversary getaway

We have stayed at many places, this is the first one where the pictures don't do justice to the home. It was a beautiful place to stay, with a beautiful setting to walk around in.

Beautiful and relaxing getaway!

My wife and I loved this cozy cabin. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed having access to the lake and appreciated being out in nature while still being a short drive to town. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay!

Beautiful cottage

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is as described, but much more special in person. We loved the location, decor and cleanliness of the cabin. Lots of things to do in the area. Hosts were responsive and great to work with.
