Betty is easy to work with. Nice and very knowledgeable of the area. Everything you need is there for you to have a good time. We had a great time and recommend this place to all boaters who love the Keys!

We wanted one more day!

This was our 2nd time renting this unit from Bette. We had a great time and it's a great place to stay, we loved it!

Great House with backyard pool and Great Location

Loved the house, pool, bikes, kayak. Very clean and kitchen was well equipped. Bette the owner was great. Hope to book again in near future.

Winter getaway

Great place to stay. It had everything you need and was very comfortable. The neighborhood is perfect for walking bike riding and has three restaurants in gated community. The owner communicated regularly and we will stay again. Loved it!

Great house, Great time

We were a mixture of adults and teen agers. One of our boats had mechanical porblems but we made the best of it and had a great time. Communications with Betty were quick and easy. Will definitely visit again.

Perfect Getaway!

We loved our stay in KCB at this wonderful home! It was even more beautiful than the pictures and had everything we needed and more. We relaxed by the pool, went for long walks and enjoyed Sunset Beach in the evening. The owners were very easy to communicate with as well. We hope to make it back next year!!

Best trip!!

Great house with lots of room for all of us!! The pool was awesome and really enjoyed the entire time here!! Bette was alwsys there when we needed her-- just little things---nothing drastic! The house has everything you need for your stay!!

Best vacation rental!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The house is so much bigger than it looks. The kitchen and living area are a great size. Out back is an amazing place to relax. Don't miss out on going to the Club to enjoy the pool, beach, and bar! It's a great perk that comes with the house. Key Colony is a wonderful place to stay in Marathon Key.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was great, just perfect for our two families, including four teenagers. We enjoyed the pool and the dock worked perfectly for our boat. Bette, our host, was so responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

What a great experience

Check-in was great owner of property was wonderful to deal with. Master bedroom bed was the best sleep I’ve had in a long time took a picture of the brand so I can buy one for my own home. Kitchen was well appointed Pool was great, dock was great one morning I fished in my pajamas, would definitely recommend this to everybody

I can’t say enough good things about this property and the owner. The house is maintained, well stocked, comfortable and clean. The owner is committed to making sure that your trip is a good one. We had a great week at the property, pool and on the water. Will definitely stay again. A+

Great vacation

We were here for 2 weeks. Accommodations were exactly as advertised. Bette stayed in touch a couple of times to see how things were going. Great host and communication. Will rent again. Nice new dock for our boat.

Key Colony Vacation

Perfect location. House, pool and outside is beautiful, exactly as described. We brought a boat that we used daily. Dock area was perfect. Lots of fish caught for an added bonus. Bette was wonderful with communication and anything needed. Didn’t want to leave! This was the nicest rental we have stayed out in Key Colony and would definitely stay again!

Very convenient location. Close and easy route to EvergreenHealth in Kirkland.

House setup nicely with large open area providing a good play area. Essential Items for kitchen, bathrooms and laundry all provided onsite to include soaps, laundry pods and softener sheets, lotion, shampoo, coffee pods, which was convenient and very appreciated. Our host was always quick to respond and most helpful in every situation. We will definitely return if/when we are in the area.

Best Rental Ever

We have been staying in vacation rentals for years! We come to Marathon every year for 3-4 weeks. We love Key Colony but have a difficult time finding nice rentals with great outdoor areas as well as a nice home. We hope to be able to rent in Bette's home again. Super clean, great layout for family both indoors and out. The pictures online are great, in person its even better. Communication with Bette is great, she answers any questions and is quick to respond.

keys family getaway

We stayed a week in July. So much to do in the middle keys without the bustle of Key West. The house is very nice, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The pool and rear deck are amazing. We kayaked from the dock several days and walked to sunset beach many evenings. Bette was very responsive and helpful. We had a couple of small issues that were corrected in a timely fashion. The property manager was very nice and all were caring about our stay. The neighbor Tom is a great guy and we spoke most days. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Awesome Piece of Paradise

We had a party of 7 the house was plenty big enough for all of us. We a great time hanging out in the pool and on the dock. The host Bette has to be one of the very best host that we have experienced. Her communication was prompt and her directions for gaining access to the property and what needed to be done prior to us leaving were very clear and easy to follow. She even texted to let us know we could get in the house early since the cleaning crew had finished early. She is definitely a 5 star host and we plan on booking our next trip to the Keys at this same property.

One more day, please...

This property was everything it advertises to be. Very clean and although not large, there is still plenty of room for a family of five or two/three couples. Bette was easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. The proximity to Sunset Park was a bonus and the neighborhood is beautiful! Bikes and kayaks are a plus too and even though we had the pool, we also enjoyed a few afternoons at the Cabana Club, thanks to the included passes. Key Colony Beach is a fantastic locale if you want diving/snorkeling close by. Sombrero Reef lighthouse is a short boat ride and can be seen from the beach and Bahia Honda State Park is worth the short trip. Key West is also just an hour away. Overall, a great rental and location.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This property is exactly as described, is very clean, spacious, and welcoming. We loved the pool and used it 2x/day for our stay. We visited a new restaurant nightly and still had a list of places we wanted to go when we left. We had good food everywhere. We visited a nearby beach a few times and the fisherman in the group launched his kayak several places within just a few minutes drive (and caught fish daily!) This was a family trip with grandparents, parent, grandchild, & married couple w/o kids all together and the house didn't feel crowded at all, everyone had lots of space to be together or have their own space for a bit. The communication with Bette was easy and friendly. I would absolutely rent this home again and would recommend it to any friends and family visiting this area.
