Studio remodeled with a spacious kitchenette, built in electric cooktop and regular size fridge. The entire unit finished with stone floors, tons of storage and 'smooth' ceilings for a clean modern look. And Enjoy the wall mounted flat screen TV from the king size bed!

The Neighborhood:
Waikiki Grand Hotel is right across street from small pier, ocean, and zoo. This end of Waikiki has the largest and best beach of the strip.

Kapiolani Park and Waikiki Aquarium are a few minutes walk, 5 minutes or less.

Getting Around:
• Parking info. There is no parking included with this apartment. Building parking is $35 plus tax per day - call Waikiki Grand Hotel reserve a spot.

• You can park for free around Kapiolani park which is about a 5 minute walk. Parking is on the "Paki Street" side of the park and along Monsarrat St. Kapiolani Park has free metered parking from 6pm-10am daily and all-day on Sundays.

• Across the street, you can park at the zoo for only $1.5 an hour. This can be the cheapest option since you only pay for what you need.

• If you choose not to rent a car, there are multiple bus routes just steps away. Uber or Lyft also available. I recommend only renting a car on days you plan to go North Shore. Everything else is walking distance or easily accessible by bus which is one of the best systems in the US.

Groups of visitors, and party size visitors are not allowed.

We are delighted to offer a pet-friendly property! If you wish to bring your furry friends along, there is a fee of $100 per pet per stay. Also, extra guest fee applies after 2 guests, $25 per person, per night.

Old Waikiki

The location is great for exploring Waikiki and spending time on the beach. The 10th floor sun deck is a nice surprise. The unit is located in a 1960's hotel that has been converted into a condo. There is a mix of locals living full time, retirees staying long term and typical weekly tourist staying in this building. This unit is not managed by the Waikiki Grand hotel management so the lobby staff have no control with any issues with the unit. The lobby staff are friendly and helpful on many areas that they control. Marabella Lane property management company rents this unit on VBRO and are based on the US mainland. We had issues checking in. We spent two hours in the lobby after listed check in time waiting for them to verify that we were the right customers. Customer service was terrible with Marabella Lane. We have never had an issue with any property manager checking into a unit anywhere in VRBO except for them.

Fantastic Location

This was a perfect location. You can walk to the beach, local restaurants, and Waikiki shopping. The room was a nice size, comfortable bed and furniture. It was exactly what we were looking for. We paid for hotel parking and it was worth the expense to have a designated spot.

It’s a perfectly located unit by the beach that offers convenience and great views of the beach. Great stay other than a couple of minor details. It looks like there are ongoing issues with roaches. We found a couple during the week. Bathroom light and sink could have been cleaned more thoroughly for our stay.

Perfect place

Perfect place, close to the beach, transit and shopping/restaurants. Every thing you need is in the apartment. Very spacious. Kitchen is a plus. Pool on site is nice. Building is clean, safe and quiet. The bed is huge and comfortable. The two sleeper couches were nice to have for Grandkids naps.

Everything GREAT except for cleanliness.

Location, great! Communication with Host, great! Ease of Check-in and Check-out, great! The major concern I had about my stay was the cleanliness of the place. My partner and I had to purchase cleaning supplies. We cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. Some maintenance and upkeep on the property are needed and would make the property look less "rundown." There was one small pot and pan, both not in good condition. Better quality pans and pots would have made cooking more convenient. After all, one of the reasons why we chose this location was for the kitchenette.

Gross Misrepresentation

Cockroaches in the cupboards. Paid for (4) adults, king bed was OK, other two sofa beds horrible and no linens for one of them, dishes dirty, lock to get into the unit had a failing battery.

I wish the property description would have said they had cockroaches in the room we stayed in. The light fixture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned and had dead bugs in it. It felt disgusting sleeping in there have cockroaches in the room and all they property owner did was spray a product like raid and give us more cockroach traps- which both didn’t help. Parking was a squeeze and tight spot for $30 a night if you choose to park in their parking on site. The only good thing I would say it’s walking distance from zoo, beach, and shops. We did not have a relaxing time staying knowing there were cockroaches that were in the kitchen and didn’t feel comfortable cooking or eating inside the room. Would not recommend at all. Would have paid a little more for a room without cockroaches especially since I have children. Would have liked to be warned about the facilities problems before renting so we could have made a better decision for us to stay.

Staff is very helpful and try their best to make us feel comfortable at the place. I just wish they add in the description of the place that the “studio” is a hotel room ( we just don’t like hotels and if is an option we prefer not to stay at it). The area where is located is great if you like shopping and dining, the beach is just basically 5 minutes walking from your room. Another info that should be updated in the description is that there is no oven in the unit, the pool is not heated and if you book this place be ready to pay extra $ for parking spot otherwise you will have to deal with street parking. This is very limited due to the popularity of the area

Nice retreat!

Overall great place to stay. For this trip specifically, I had made the booking with the understanding that there was an oven in the unit. Unfortunately there is not an oven, there is a toaster oven. The place was clean, and had everything else needed for a very relaxing trip. The beachfront is not far, and there is plenty to do within walking distance.

Sad to leave!

We loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants. Tour buses and the bus system made it possible to explore the island without having to rent a car. The tenth floor deck was also our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening wind down. Thanks for hosting us!

Good location

Manager was responsive to issues but would not supply wine glasses. Pool is nice if not taken over by local non guests. Loud exterior A/C units are quieted by keeping bathroom door shut. Great way to visit Waikiki.

Excellent location, perfect size place for the 3 of us, clean and well maintained facility.

GREAT LOCATION, COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN
