The historic Tarpon House built over 100 years ago as the original Tarpon Inn. Spoil yourself with not only the home’s historic charm but also it’s upscale amenities which make this home a 5 star estate.
Home sleep 11 comfortably with its 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.
The Tarpon House features a luxury master suite, beautifully designed kitchen with all the bells and whistles, large outdoor fenced in yard with gas grill, fire pit and plenty of outside seating.
Park in the driveway and walk downtown for some shopping or a bite to eat or walk to the world famous Sponge Docks for Greek culture, dinning or just to stroll the historic Anclote River.
The Tarpon House is located between Tarpon Springs downtown (2 blocks), Spring Bayou (2 blocks) and the Historic Sponge Docks (4 blocks).
You are also conveniently located just 4.9 miles from the world famous Innisbrook Resort and Salamander Spa. Pamper yourself at the Spa or play gold on one of 4 beautiful golf courses.

We loved our stay. The house is located in a great location. Close to the beach, Sponge Docks, downtown Tarpon. The house had spacious rooms and a great fenced in back yard.

Overall i would stay here again. Its not very suitable currently for little children as all of the kitchen drawers are off tracks and can easy fall out. The 2 bunk rooms twin beds are all in need of some new box springs or mattresses but again wasnt terrible. The positives: very close to downtown and craig park. Sponge docks are close too. The house has plenty of space and bedroom layout is good for 2 families with younger kids.The negatives: very loud all night with traffic since you are directly on main road.

Location is of the house was perfect. The house was clean. No code is provided for the keypad until your check in day and time. Downstairs bathroom had no hot water. Kitchen lights flickered from the time we arrived until they finally just turned off. They lights went back on when we turned the air conditioning off upstairs when we were leaving

Very happy the location of the house was perfect and you found the home clean. Receiving the code the day of checkin is 100% typical and customary customary. Upon arriving at the home the hot water downstairs was working perfectly as well as the lights. The AC and the lights are on completely separate breakers (impossible for one to affect the other) and if there is hot water at one location there is hot water at every location. That’s how a homes hot water operates.

Great, Affordable & Very Spacious
Had a great stay! Even with 10 people, we still had a lot of room. On kind of a busy corner, but was very quiet inside and so close to downtown. Well stocked and nice place, everyone was happy! Would definitely stay here again.

The Tarpon House
The perfect location to explore the Tarpon Springs area. Wonderful historic home with charming woodwork and very modern kitchen.

Tarpon house
The property was close to Sponge Docks and downtown Tarpon Springs. Easy access to shops and dining.

The house has a lot of character, easy to find, the host was a fast communicator. House was clean with the exception of a couple spider friends, but it’s Fl so that comes with the territory. It served the purpose of my family meeting for a wedding and it was beautiful!

Will stay again!
This house was wonderful for our needs. We had family fly in from different states to celebrate my father-in-law’s 90th birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful and accommodated all of our needs.

Professional Meeting
Our professional group had a very nice stay in the Tarpon House. It is situated within walking distance to the waterfront and to Walmart for all grocery needs.

Nice place for a family reunion
A lovely home! Lots of comfortable rooms and beds to accommodate a few families. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very nice backyard for playing games with the kids. Convenient off street parking.
Thanks to George and Chas for providing this "home away from home"!
