Architect remodeled, modern amenities, historic charm. Every Bedrooms has their own private bath. Library/Living Room has 5' wide fireplace & Flat Screen TV/Bose. Kitchen has Wolf, Thermadore appliances, Fireplace, . Most rooms have fireplaces. 1 Bedroom has private 2nd floor terrace.

Close to WAC, Mia, Eat Street, Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, MN United, Up/Downtown, 5 Parks, Lake of the Isles, Guthrie, MOA, Transit and Freeways...Quiet, Tree lined Street.

What an amazing house. So much history and architecture beauty. Renovations are still happening but the experience of witnessing historical significance in a weekend was enjoyed. The location offered a glimpse into old Minneapolis and getting around was a breeze. The host was gracious and accommodating. A weekend to remember. Three longtime friends with our own bedroom and adjoining bathroom.

Interesting historic huge house. You’ll find some quirks typical of an old house but the place is beautiful and worth it. The kitchen is well-equipped for the serious cook.

Helpful host, huge home, comfy beds, the most well-outfitted VRBO kitchen ever, dining room easily seats 10-or 12, quiet neighborhood near so much good stuff. If you love woodwork, you will be bowled over.

Great historic property with exceptional location

Spent three great days in this property in the center of Minneapolis. Great food, shopping and entertainment nearby to this quiet neighborhood. Tons of space, great kitchen and plenty of seating for everyone to hang out. Would love to stay here again.

Enormous home with space galore!Lots of places to sit and talk. It’s an old house with the expected charms and quirks, but very comfortable, both downstairs (living area) and upstairs (bedrooms).

Magnificent!

Stayed for work travel with two colleagues. Such a wonderful location, walking distance to restaurants and shops and downtown. Hosts were wonderful.

Excellent place to stay!

We enjoyed the mansion. It was conveniently located and easy to get on and off the freeway. Six of us helped cook the Thanksgiving meal in the spacious kitchen. It was a wonderful holiday. We loved taking walks in the neighborhood and found that it was close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Perfect house for hosting, great location

We had a fun weekend at this unique property. Everything went smooth, the house was well-equipped, on a quiet street, close to stores. Has plenty of beds, a Foosball table, big windows, and lots of character. :) I would definitely rent this property again!

Downtown Minneapolis

House was beautiful..kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. It was close to the Minneapolis Sculpture garden and The Basilica of St. Mary.

This stay was like an adventure -- stunning turn-of-the-20th century home with enough updates to feel fully 2025 functional. The interior architecture was an extra bonus -- lots to look at and admire. We lived in the Twin Cities a long time and never saw this lovely avenue tucked in on the top of Uptown. We took some nice walks, got groceries at the co-op just a couple blocks away, ate at Nightingale and Gai Noi, walked to the Sculpture Garden, and wondered why we ever left Minnesota.

Historic Home

We enjoyed our stay in this unique home. A large main room with a grand piano was lovely for visiting with friends. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and the dining room was perfect for a special dinner. The home appears to have some renovations underway, and the bathrooms could use more updating, but that did not detract from our stay. Overall, a nice stay in a quiet neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The history of this house must be truly fascinating and your mind is constantly being stimulated by all the attention to detail in both the original architecture and new updates of this historic mansion!! Five Stars for Sure!!

Second time here and still as charming as ever

We rented this Vrbo to host a murder mystery dinner party. The home was beautiful and the kitchen was amazing to work in with the chef. Have visited this brownstone previously and so happy we decided to rent it again. Lovely owner who communicated proficiently. Can’t wait to book our next event.
