Enjoy the musical fountains every evening in the summer months. Harbor Trolley for an exceptional tour around the city.
Grand Haven state park beach1.5 miles away with gorgeous beach and light house pier and beautiful sunsets.
Backyard trail steps away for a 2.5-mile-long bike or walking trail takes you to the many shops, ice cream, restaurants, breweries, wineries and marinas for charter fishing. So many attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Many festivals throughout the year.
Downtown Washington St. has heated sidewalks for the winter months for strolling to shops and restaurants. Mulligans Hollow the local ski resort 1 mile away.

We celebrated our anniversary in GH. This was a great little house and location was perfect near the water and close to restaurants and shops which we walked to. We had our dog and we enjoyed the outdoor sitting area. The king bed was a little uncomfortable for our liking and it was a bit of a challenge in the night with bathroom on lower level for us older folks navigating the small stairs. All in all highly recommend for couples with dogs or small family.

Short vacation

The location was perfect for walking or biking. It was a busy street and noisy during the day, but ok at night. We enjoyed the back patio. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with everything we needed. Driveway was narrow and sometimes hard to get in and out due to traffic. We enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the house.

Family oriented accomodations

This was a clean property with a nice walk to downtown. It was also close to 31 which was also also a plus. We would definitely come back for the next trip to Grand Haven.

Excellent Location

Perfect location with easy access to downtown. We enjoyed using the bikes provided by the property owner to bike downtown to shops and restaurants. Beaches are a short 10 minute drive. Backyard of this property is a real asset- space for kids to run. Property owner was easy to communicate with, property was accurately described online.

Great location!

You couldn’t pick a more convenient location! Close to shops, beach, musical fountain, everything we wanted to hit. With that comes the busy street it’s on which was not ideal for noise or privacy. Place itself was clean, comfortable and had a lot of perks like smart tv’s, grill, outdoor area etc. to enjoy. Great appliances throughout which was handy. Thanks for hosting us!

25th anniversary weekend

The house was a great location to downtown. We had great weather for November to explore the beautiful sunsets on the boardwalk and relax with the fireplace. House was clean and well stocked kitchen. A book with information about local restaurants and wi fi network would be good so not to have to bother anyone. Extra towels on site would be good . It is a great house for two.

Grand Haven Home

The property has a great location and was very clean, only downside was no air conditioner upstairs. There was a fan in one bedroom that kept it cool to sleep, but not the other. Bring a fan and enjoy this great place!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house is in the perfect location. We parked our car on Friday and didn’t get back in until we left on Sunday. There’s easy access to the bike trail behind the house. It was about a 1/2 hour walk to the beach and just minutes from downtown. The house was very clean. She has a lot of extra “just in case” items like a baby gate and high chair, extra patio chairs, kitchen items, etc. The back yard is very relaxing but we mostly sat out front and watched the people go by. Very friendly neighborhood. Would stay there again.

Spring Getaway

Unfortunately the last day of our stay was nonstop rain so we went home early. We are in our early 70’s and both of us have a lot of arthritis so the only bathroom downstairs was an issue as well as the bed being uncomfortable. Younger people may not find this as a problem. The location has way too much traffic since it’s on the road to the beaches. We stayed here before the beaches were open. In the summer it must be bumper to bumper traffic. The house location is walkable to the beaches and restaurants which is great for families just not senior citizens.

Literally the perfect house!!! It was absolutely spotless and had everything you’d need for a long weekend. We took our dog and two friends and the location was perfect! We could walk him everywhere in town. Check in and communication with Leia was so smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again and actually just recommended to a few friends for a trip later in the month.

June in Grand Haven

Wonderful guest house with terrific, responsive hosts as neighbors. The house is very clean and has everything one would need for long or short term stays. The location is exceptional for walking, biking or driving. Parking, bikes, the patio, the grill all being available with the house are welcome extras. Leia and Scott have thought of everything.

Amazing and Conveniently Located!

This property was amazing! It was so pretty and comfortable with everything you could need for a fun getaway! It was within walking distance of down town Grand Haven which was amazing as we could go everywhere we wanted and not have to worry about parking. Leia is an amazing host who gave a lot of awesome recommendations and great information that made our stay so much better!

Our family has been boat lovers for years and this location makes it unbelievably easy to dock our boat and walk only 2 mins back to the house. On beautiful summer days we enjoy sitting on the front porch and taking in the delightful community scenery.
