Oceanfront Omni Amelia Island

Vacationing at Amelia Island is one of our family’s favorite trips. We particularly like the access to the beach, pool and restaurants at this location.

Pleasant Stay

My sisters and a friend celebrated a 60th birthday. It was a nice place in a beautiful neighborhood. A great place to all gather to celebrate.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family had a great Thanksgiving gathering at the beach. The villa easily accommodated 6 adults and 1 preteen. Beverly was accessible and truly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great family location

Unit has significant upgrades over other units we have stayed in Beach Walker. King beds were comfortable and rooms with bunks/ ends provide a family a lot of choices. Kudos to the owner

Amelia Island Condo

Beautiful landscaping - pleasant accommodations. It'd be wonderful if the hot water for showers was hotter, and if there was a water filter for drinking and cooking water.

A Great Getaway

Very open spacious living and kitchen area which we loved. Plenty of bed space for the whole family plus some. Mattresses on a couple beds were a little outdated but we would still stay again. Can’t beat the location.

Girls Trip

Great location. Stocked really well with supplies. Cute decor. Recommend taking the Segway tour and eating at the Falcon nest restaurant. Huge portions and evening music...

We were all there for tennis at Cliff Drysdale. The stay , the condo and the lessons were perfect. Highly recommend! Perfect, pool nearby as well as ocean!!

Family fun

Property was very nice, pool and ocean very close. Trees blocked the view, I’m sure the trees have grown over the years. We had a few minor issues that were taken care of in record time and we had a wonderful stay.

The location was excellent—just a short walk to both the beach and the pool, which made it very convenient for our group.The condo itself was spacious and worked well for our two families of four. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we had a wonderful vacation overall.That said, the unit is showing its age and could benefit from a complete refresh. The furnishings, finishes, and overall condition felt quite worn. We also experienced a strong sewer odor in the downstairs bedroom throughout our stay. We ended up buying candles to help mask the smell, which made it manageable, but it was disappointing.Despite those issues, we enjoyed our time on Amelia Island and appreciated the size and location of the condo. With some updates and attention to the odor issue, this property could be a much better experience.

Beach was great

Some of the furniture needed updating. Microwave didn’t work. Elevator was out for 2 days. Had to carry bags and food up stairs.Bedspread had pet stains. The beach was great!!

Was not ocean viewCouch was broken and replaced with a piece of plywood.Dresser drawers in bunk beds was broken.6 bath cloths for the entire condo.No beach towels were found as told were in a closet.Layout of condo was good.

Easter holiday

Location- beautifulPool- GeorgeousOcean - beachfrontFacility- people deserve better for the price esp. kitchen and living room area as it is old, outdated, and soiled seats at table, old frig. Horrible couch- no stability to it.Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired- needs a thorough spring, cleaning in bedrooms as well. Many items found in the rooms. Not allowed in until about 24 min after checkin as cleaners were still there and said they only learned a few minutes before to take care of it.Broken sliding door. We requested someone to come repair it and no one ever did.

Tons of stairs to climb

The listing was very misleading and deceitful about the amount of stairs both inside our condo and to get to the beach. I even contacted the manager about how difficult the walk would be because of my elderly father and was told it was about a 3 minute walk. There was not mention of the multiple flight of stairs to climb to get to the beach. Inside the condo, there were three flights of stairs that were purposely not photographed or mentioned in the listing. Only a single flight of stairs were photographed in the listing inside the condo and there was no mention of the multiple flights of stairs to the beach. We were disappointed and will never be back.

Amelia Island Beach Week

Overall everyone enjoyed the space and the beach/pool. We had 7, including 2 young children. Everyone had their own space and 4 bedrooms made it comfortable. Beach is close and at this time of year (Sep in FL), you pretty much have the beach to yourself. Pool was also great. The apartment could use some TLC. One sofa seemed to have no bottom. Windows really need cleaning on the outside. A/C was working but apparently was leaking to the unit below. Staff came to make a fix but left the old filter in which was soaked with water. Refrigerator could be replaced. Water was leaking from freezer-- again fixed promptly but it is old--as is the glass top dining table and carpeting ion main level. But overall was pleased with this property--the location made it a perfect beach stay

Deceitful listing

Property was not at all what expected. Firstly, there were 4 different levels. No mention was made in listing about that. The apartment was poorly maintained. Couch was broken, a chair had a spring coming out of the bottom, the drains in bathrooms were disgusting...I have photos. Maintenance came to fix broken shower handle and reconnect TV. I have also contacted property manager and have gotten no response. I've always had a good experience with VRBO, but this unit should not be rented again until updates are made.

Everything but

We enjoyed our stay at Amelia Island with the following exceptions. The beach chairs were horrible and should be replaced and there was not a vacuum in the unit. With a week stay a vacuum would Ave been nice. Finally, note the pool is not heated.
