We had an amazing stay in Palm Desert at the beginning of May. The house was perfect for our group of four friends, super clean, well-equipped, and in a great location. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. Everything exceeded our expectations — highly recommended!

Our family has stayed here many times over the years and have really loved it! The layout and space is perfect for extended family to stay all together with space to spread out. Very clean and we love the recent renovations that updated the bathrooms, adding even more light and convenience to an already wonderful property! Jim and Julie were wonderful hosts. We highly recommend!

Family Retreat

Great accommodations for large family group, location is ideal for whole valley. Excellent communication with owners who answered all our questions and requests. Highly recommend to everyone.

Twin Palms 2025

Great property - fits our whole family as they come and go over the month. Perfect location - can go everywhere in the valley plus LA. Booked next year to make it 8 times!

THE place to live in Palm Desert

The property offers everything you could wish for. A huge outdoor living space with privacy, pool, barbecue, different places to relax or have dinner. Perfect for both families and a group of friends. Love to come back year after year.

Always a perfect Spot

After many years of coming back here it feels like coming home. Wonderful vacation home with everything you need to have the perfect time. Very friendly and always caring host. Can't wait to be back next year.

Great house and pool

The house is nice and large, the yard is beautifully landscaped, the salt-water pool is wonderful, the games are plentiful. Great communication with the owner. Quiet neighborhood yet close to El Paseo. We all had a relaxing and fun vacation and look forward to returning.

Every year again

The house offers everything your heart desires. The location is perfect, the hosts are extremely attentive and unobtrusive. Perfect and fast communication, absolutely five star rating.

This property delivers!

Our stay was wonderful! From the rental's amenities and space to ease and convenience of location. We made a temporary "home" of it with friends and family staying and sharing with a few (approved) grateful visitors - we enjoyed eating, swimming, playing and relaxing, and visiting together. Thanks!

A perfect family vacation house

Jim and Julie are fantastic hosts. Any questions were quickly answered. The house is perfect for a multi-generational family. Everything you would need is provided. The neighborhood couldn’t be better. A short walk brings you to El Paseo with its restaurants and stores.

6 weeks in paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jim and Julie’s well appointed and impeccably maintained home. The location, within walking distance of El Paseo, is excellent. The back yard and pool area are stunning. We’ve been renting in the Palm Desert area for many years and this home is the best we’ve encountered. We were bummed to find out that the home had already been rented for next season or we definitely would have come back.

Absolutely perfect

Everything was perfect for us during our stay here, we all enjoyed a wonderful vacation. The layout is brilliant and suited us perfectly. All furniture, linens, crockery, glasses etc are high quality & plentiful. The pool & gardens were very well maintained. Jim was friendly & helpful, & responded very quickly to any questions we raised. This is a top quality vacation property & I recommend it very highly.

Awesome Oasis

This place is amazing! There is so much room and separation. Great for a multigenerational family or just a few friends with kids of different ages. Jim was an amazing host. He responded quickly to any questions and stopped by to give us a quick overview of how everything worked. The location was great and there were bikes and games for everyone to enjoy. Would definitely stay again if we visited the area.

Perfection in Palm Desert

My family converged from Chicago and Pittsburgh to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday and had a wonderful time. Jim is a wonderful host ensuring every possible need is provided for and attended to, from pool toys to pool table to bicycles to a fully accessorized kitchen. The property is warm and cheerful and lends itself to hanging out by the pool, or at various comfortable outdoor seating options or around the dining room table. Everything is cheerful and easy. And the house is in a great location - in an actual neighborhood that is lovely but doesn’t feel at all like a developed community or subdivision, and within walking distance of Palm Desert’s cute main street El Paseo and about a 20 minute drive to the center of Palm Springs. I highly recommend this home for a stay.

Does it get any better than this?

Would be 5 1/2 stars if it were possible. Likely the best VRBO property in our history. Everything as expected plus more. So many activities we didn't even get to ping pong or foosball. Great location in a quiet neighborhood with wide streets, just a short walk to the main streets with shopping and restaurants. Wake up every morning looking at the mountains in the distance. Hiking close by (we were lucky and saw big horn sheep), golf a few blocks away, plenty of tvs for watching and games for playing. And the pool/spa/firepit was a perfect relaxation at the end of any day. Joshua Tree entrances within an hour. Can't thank Jim & Julie enough for their responsiveness and assistance every time we had a question.

Annual favorite vacation

Twin Palms does not disappoint! This home has all the best wrapped up in one great location. It has lovely common areas with so much space to enjoy watching a movie or sporting event. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. The home has sufficient bedroom space to please quite a few people. The pool area is so nice because the hosts have provided plenty of seating options. My husband very much enjoyed the spa and the pool towels were plenty! Very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house was nicely furnished. The location is in our favorite spot of the desert, so easy to get anywhere by car but the best is the ability to walk to El Paseo to all the shops and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood, the hosts were so kind and always available. We have stayed at almost a half dozen homes in the Shadow Mountain area and this home is right up at the top of our list. This is just a wonderful place for a vacation! I hope to be able to stay again someday. I highly recommend this home.

This house was a favorite!

We loved everything about this house. Our experience was perfect from beginning to end. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket. That was such a nice surprise. Jim was attentive and always responded very quickly. The rooms were spacious and open. The two casitas were a huge perk and the young couples were very happy to have the privacy. The yard is one of the most beautiful we have had the pleasure of renting. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly, so we couldn't enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked. The hot tub was great and got very nice and hot. The fire pit was a really nice touch too. Due to the chill in the air in the evening and not being able to be outside, there were endless hours spent playing pool. That was a very nice touch for us. We could walk to town and there are lots of restaurants within close proximity. The only thing I'm sad about is that I won't be back until next year. I would happily rent this lovely place over and over again.

Spectacular Stay

What a beautiful home! We had the pleasure of staying in this home for the month of October. The home was well stocked and had something for everyone. I would highly recommend this home to other families that would like to stay in a neighbourhood close to shopping and dining. Thank you to Jim and Julie who where wonderful help during our stay. We will defiantly be back again.

Return to Twin Palms

This is our 6th time staying at the Twin Palms. Our family, children/grandchildren, have built wonderful memories. We love the house, backyard, casitas…..cooking, shopping, restaurants. The house is perfect for all of us. The owners keep the house immaculate and we look forward to returning next year.

El Paseo Estate

Fabulous property in a fantastic location. El Paseo is a short walk and all the best restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. We have stayed at this property several times and it is the best of all we have visited.
