Great Stay!

This was a great place to stay for a small group and was a great location next to numerous golf courses that we played. I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic Getaway

Enjoyed a much-needed getaway from working at home during COVID with two small children and a tiny backyard. The house was very spacious for all four of us to spread out and it was immaculately clean. I was in search for a missing Lego at one point so I looked under every bed and piece of furniture and didn’t find a single dust bunny! The backyard is a showstopper, though. Gorgeous pool and spa with fountains and evening lighting you can control from your phone, plus a spacious back yard with an additional side yard with fruit trees. Our two children enjoyed running around, the 4-year old learned to swim, and we had an all-around lovely desert getaway. We definitely hope to come back one day!

Nice yard but the house is very old and dusty

We rented this property because they allowed a dog. The yard was nice and a big grass area. The inside of the house was clean but there were so many items that we very old and dusty. Old silk flower arrangements, old bedding, pillows and comforters on the beds. Old shag carpet in two of the bedrooms. I have allergies to dust so needless to say we left a day early because I couldn't stop sneezing and my eyes and nose watered constantly. The house could be so much better with our the old decorations and replace the carpet with tile or would flooring. Less is more!!!

This review comes as a complete and total shock to our team. We are so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay as so many others have in the past. You did not communicate any of these “issues” to us at any point during your stay and gave us no opportunity to remedy the situation. We work very hard to provide a great experience for all of our guests from our greeter to our cleaning crew, as is evidenced by our over 55 five star reviews (with no negative reviews until yours arrived). We strongly encourage all travelers staying at our house or at any vacation rental or hotel destination to express any concerns you may have up front so the owners and/or management can do their best to address them rather than making negative and baseless claims weeks later. To say nothing and then just give a bad review is unproductive, impacts your stay, and unfairly impacts the reputation of the property. More specifically regarding the décor, the pictures on the VRBO website clearly reflect the inside and outside of the property and no where do we claim the style of the décor is modern and new, but the condition of the furnishings are excellent, and many feel it is charming. This home has been in my family for years and we have opted to keep the style they liked. If you didn’t like the photos in the VRBO gallery then you should have booked somewhere else. Regarding the dust, I personally inspected the cleaning the day you arrived and the house was spotless and my cleaning crew and I were both very confused by your comment about dust. It is the desert and it can get dusty if you leave all of the doors open and if it did become dusty we would have gladly sent someone out to address it. We do hope your allergies have improved but find it highly unlikely that the property was the cause. We would like to reassure our returning and future guests that we have always and will continue our commitment to quality as a 5 stars experience is always our goal.

Family vacation

Property was exactly as shown and Jordan was so responsive and great to deal with. We stayed there the entire month of December over the holidays to get away as a family and kids were able to do remote learning and we were able to work remotely as well. Great backyard and great area. Could not be more appreciative towards Jordan and the property. Such a great home to rent for a large family.

Great Stay

My family and I were looking for a house to live/remote work/remote school from while our house was under construction. This house fit the bill perfectly. We had space to work and then space to play. The pool & spa were amazing and very relaxing. The added bonus of the pool table allowed for some fun family time. The area was quiet and very close to the main drag for access to restaurants and coffee. The check in and check out were very easy, and Jordan was very responsive during our stay if we had any questions. We will definitely come back here.

Relaxing escape

This home was a great escape from the city after a few month of being at home during the lockdown. Jordan is a great host! Our three children very much enjoyed the pool and the many indoors entertainment options. And we all loved the spacious patio in spite of the desert summer heat. Great place!

great stay for our family

We had a wonderful pre-Christmas long weekend at Jordan's place. Perfect for our group of eight. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, the pool and spa are awesome, bedrooms are spacious.

fun time in the desert

Our family of eight just returned from a lovely two week stay at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and were well blessed with the home. Jordan was really quick to respond to any questions or concerns to we. Check in and out was super easy. We appreciated the detailed home guides that were left in each room to explain various electronics. The backyard pool was the main attraction and it was wonderful swimming during the day or by the interesting lights in the evening. In summation, it's a nice older family home in a quiet neighborhood that would be a great holiday spot for large or small groups. We hope to go back again.

We enjoyed our second visit to this lovely property and plan to visit again next year. The owner has stocked the home and yard with everything anyone could possibly need. Our family of 8 had a great time and we look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful home

We wanted a relaxing girls retreat and that’s exactly what we got. We had 8 ladies in our 50’s that needed a break to relax and lay around pool and enjoy our girl time. This home was perfect for that—lovely pool and backyard and plenty of bedrooms and bathroom for our group. We would definitely consider doing this again.

Gail's Family Vacation

Although the heat was oppressive (108-119) almost every day, we adjusted our outdoor activity to accommodate. The home was exactly what we were looking for. We met our children and grand children there. It was more than enough room for all of us. And the pool was wonderful!!

Summer vacation

Great property to relax and hang by the pool!! The only things that can be improved are the kitchen needs to be better outfitted and the beds need some upgrading.

Amazing Family Fun

The memories will last forever. Inside and out all the comforts of home with every feature you could want. Lots of space. Large Bedrooms and comfortable couches. TVs and DVD players in every room. Pool table. Front and back porches. Backyard BBQ, Fire Pit, Pool, Spa, Deck Jets, Outdoor Shower. Amazing property. The interior isn't modern but it's clean and in excellent condition and is exactly as the pictures appear. We rent a lot of vacation rentals and the most important thing to remember is these are private homes not corporate run chain hotels. Things will break and stop working just like in your home. The key is a property manager or owner who cares and is responsive and that is probably the best feature of this property. The greeter was informative and the property manager was responsive with any needs that came up. 5 stars for sure.

Family Reunion 2019

Perfect desert getaway

An amazing experience from start to finish is the best way to describe this property. John was amazing and responsive. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The house was impeccable and fun and relaxing. We could be together as a family, either at the pool, grilling out at night, playing games, or enjoying Dodger games or our favorite shows on the TVs throughout the house. Our vacation wouldn’t have been the same without a stay at this house. It was quite and peaceful at night, yet close to shopping and activities during the day. Check in and out were simple, and the informational books were so helpful throughout the stay. Please consider this property for your Palm Desert get away! We are so grateful we did.

Great backyard

This place had everything a backyard could want - pool, spa, bar/bbq, and fire pit. We spent all our time outside, it was fantastic. The fire bowls by the pool were a great feature at night. Walked to El Paseo every night, very close. Definitely would come back to this house.

Exactly what we needed!

First of all, the owner was just the best from the get-go; always responded in a timely manner, answered all of questions, and was very accommodating of our requests. The owner also arranged for someone to greet us when we arrived. They walked us through the home and showed us how some of the appliances worked, which was very helpful. The location was perfect, literally minutes away from everything we needed: the shopping mall, Walmart, and Costco. The neighborhood was also nice and quiet, we never had any noise or privacy issues. The house itself was amazing: the rooms were comfortable, we really loved having the pool table and piano, and the backyard was better than we imagined! The pool was refreshing, plus there were floaties to use. The hot tub and fire pits were perfect at night when the temperature dropped. We cooked most of our meals on the outdoor grill. And there was a small enclosed yard that was perfect to play Spikeball. My group and I really enjoyed our stay at this home and would love to stay again! Highly recommend!

The house and back yard was perfect!!

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and Jordan was very helpful. My husband and I and our 2 dogs drove from the Seattle area to see how we might like this area during the winter.... even though it rained the first couple days didnt phase us, it then warmed up to a nice 73-75 for the next 5 days. Jordan had the pool at a perfect 84° and the hot tub was Fabulous! Everything about this house was just perfect for us with lots of grass space for our dogs. We can’t wait to schedule our next trip back!! Thanks again Jordan! Cheers, Shelly & Jim

Amazing House and Yard and Great for Families

We can't say enough about how great a time we had at this house and the memories we made. The house was just as it was pictured and super clean. 4 bedrooms all with comfortable beds. A location in the heart of South Palm Desert and walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants. Flat screens and DVD players in every room. Pool table. And the yard was like a resort. Amazing! Waterfalls and deck jets and a powerful spa. We just posted this review and noticed someone who stayed the day after we left gave it 2 stars and said it was dusty. They must have brought the dust with them because this place was spotless during our stay. What a bunch of jerks they must have been! To top off our greeter was very helpful and the owner was ready to help us with anything we needed. We can't wait to return. Thank you Jordan!
