Cozy, yet spacious, this vacation home has been completely updated with comfortable furnishings, linens, and a very well stocked kitchen for the vacationer that wants to prepare meals from “home”. The two large bedrooms include king beds, lots of storage, and a large flat screen smart-tv with complimentary Netflix! The garage is under air and heat and has been converted to “flex” space with a pull out queen sofa, a full bed, flat screen tv, and extra dining space! This room also includes a recently renovated second bathroom, with new washer and dryer and large walk in shower!! Recently added outdoor dining area with seating for 4 and a Webber grill!! This charming home sits on a two acre lot on Lake Ola! Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the beach under the palm trees! This home is a short drive to downtown Mt Dora famous for their shopping, dining, and antique, art and craft festivals! Publix grocery is just 5 minutes away! Ready for a paddle? We have kayaks on site! Or take a 20 minute ride to King's Landing, Nature's Theme Park for an incredible kayak or canoe down stream paddle. We are conveniently located to major highways and the Florida turnpike, you are 30-40 minutes from Disney, Universal and all the best Orlando has to offer! **Traveling with a large party or planning an event or family reunion?! 4 additional Vacation rentals are also available on this same parcel of property! Lake house

The house was very clean, reached out to the host and they responed right away. beautiful location near the lake.Plenty of room for the 4 of us and the kitchen was great for meal prep. Highly recommend this property!!

Very nice accommodations

Fully equipped. Could have used more pans in kitchen like cookie sheets etc. Not that there were bugs but a can of bug spray for the one bug we did see would have been nice. We did hear traffic a lot even though the windows were closed. The “flex” room is a finished garage which was done nicely with a lovely bathroom and shower but just know what you’re getting. The two bedroom beds were comfortable, towels in good shape and fully equipped. Each bedroom had a nice Roku tv. The biggest complaint was that it advertised a hot tub which wasn’t there. The owner apologized for the misrepresentation and bought us a drink which was very acceptable for our disappointment.

Room for Improvement

The heating air unit was very loud every time it was running in the house. House smaller than expected from photos. Thought it was a house rather than a small cottage.

Lakeside Peace

Clean, well appointed, quiet neighborhood. Our original VRBO fell through at the last minute and this host could not have been more accommodating. She actually saved us from a real disaster. I do think VRBO should make it clear that the third bedroom is actually the garage. Some people ( like my son and his gf) might not feel comfortable sleeping in the garage. I thought it was very well done and would have rented it either way. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area. A short walk past one other house is the most beautiful lake. There are kayaks and paddle boards available. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the lake more.

Mt. Dora Sweet Spot

We enjoyed our stay at this property. My husband especially enjoyed catching bass off their dock on beautiful Lake Dora. Everything was comfortable and clean. The host of the property was very responsive to my questions. Great stay!

Close to Apopka Wildlife Refuge

Very clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and it was close to Wildlife Refuge. It was also close to a very busy road and did have some traffic noise.

Nice…but noisy

Property very clean and updated, with the exception of the windows, the road noise was so loud it woke u up very early and made it hard to go to sleep. Dishwasher was holding water in the bottom and felt like I shouldn’t use it. Overall we enjoyed our visit!

Fun stay at a lake house near mt dora

Kayaks and SUP to use on beautiful Lake Ola, along with the lake dock to watch the sunset, were highlights. The home was comfortable with a new gas grill. This house is the farthest from the lake on this property and the closest to the road. Traffic noise in the bedroom was a bit of a negative. Overall, great stay.

We had an amazing thanksgiving in this home, the owner was so attentive and the property was so clean and the setup is great. Everything you need and all the beds were so comfortable. The lake was beautiful! We will be coming back 🥰

Amazing Home!

We can’t say enough about this property. It was spotless and decorated so nicely. Beds and furniture were so comfortable. The host thought of every detail, check in was a breeze and was well equipped for all our needs. We will absolutely stay again next year when I’m the area.

Lovely lakeside cottage

Cottage was exactly as described. Clean and ready for arrival. Beautiful lake and dock, too. Owner promptly responded to questions before, during, and after booking process.

We loved the property and had a wonderful time in Mount Dora thanks to this little house. The property was very clean, fully stocked and very comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent. We can't wait to visit again.

Great Weekend Trip

Stayed 2 nights, enjoyed playing in the lake. The Maui mat and kayaks were fun! The property has a small boat ramp which was fun for our friends to join us with their boat for the day. Bobbi was very accommodating for a great family weekend.

Lake House Fun

The property is beautiful and just as described. The owners are personable and easy to get hold of. It is only a few miles from fabulous Vincent’s Restaurant and Publix/McDonald’s. Close to shopping in downtown Eustis and Mt. Dora. Fabulous beds and well appointed kitchen.

Excellent place. Super clean and cozy. Comfortable bedrooms. Very clean bathrooms. Nice space to stay. Beautiful view of the lake. Lots of fun with our daughter at the lake. Look forward to going back!

My husband is a touring musician, entertainer and pretty much travels for a living. Getting into Vacation rentals was a natural fit for both of us! We love to entertain and make our guests comfortable!

Because beaches be Salty!! Seriously though, sometimes the beach is just too far and too crowded. Lake Life is the relaxed life! I've always wanted to live on a lake, and being able to share this with others is especially rewarding. We always want our guests to feel at home.

Play and swim in our private cove with sandy bottom or sit on the dock and watch the sunset or sunrise. Take one of our kayaks out for a nice paddle or sit under a palm tree all day with a good book.
