South Padre Island Beach Vacation Condo

Sand, sea, surf, and sun get it all at south padre island. My unit is a on the 4th floor so you get a partial view of the gulf of Mexico and the bay in the distance, it overlooks Schlitterbahn water park, space x and is just a short 5 minute path to the beach. Inside my unit has beach theme with beautiful bamboo wood floor and tile, bright happy blue colors pull out couch furniture new t.v.'s and the condo does have wifi. there is a hot tub, Olympic sized pool and clubhouse.

The unit is comfortable and is a great vacation spot for families, spring breakers, couples, and people of all ages. It is only a short walk to the beach just 150 yards away.

Location was great. I would advise on updating the mattress in the main room and the futon. My teens took turns sleeping on the futon and they have back pain. I myself ended up with back pain (50 yrs old) Need to invest in air bed in lieu of futon. Our ceiling fan in main bedroom makes sound everything the a/c kicks in. One more thing tooo many remotes. Headache trying to get to turn on; buy the same brand and you need just one remote. You have a very nice rental and thank you for hosting us. My family had a blast.

This is a much enjoyed beach condo at a very popular spring vacation beach. With that in mind it was as I expected and fit our needs well. We cooked in most days and had everything we needed. We stayed two weeks to enjoy SPI and to catch Starship Launch 12 which was excellent. There is a view of both SpaceX launch towers from the balcony beyond the roof of a water park building, will post a picture if I can, but we watched from Island Blanca park at the base of the jetty to get a little closer. In hindsight, it would have been a lot easier and more comfortable to watch from the balcony, and little would be lost being about a mile further from the launch tower. The beach is a short walk with other resorts and the water park also walking distance. We had a great time.

The condo was very adequate for our needs and in a great location for the things we wanted to do. We enjoyed the hot tub once. Bob responded promptly to our questions.

Great location!

Great value for a beach vacation. We stayed for almost 2 months. Had pretty much everything we needed for an extended stay. We would stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay. Bob was super helpful with my questions, and quick to respond! Place was clean, had a kitchen full of dishes to use, had a good working tv and was a short 5 minute walk to the beach. I’ve stayed at Gulfview before, but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with lodging on the island ! 10/10 recommend.

Our second home

Vintage charm at its best. This condo has everything you need. Super close to everything you have a view of the Bay on the Gulf at the same time. Thank you, Robert, we'll be back.

Beach Get Away

Clean and safe. Nice and close to beach. Nothing fancy but would recommend if you want to go to SPI and use you $ for the trip and not just on a place to stay.

Starbase visit

Property was very nice with a good view south towards Starbase. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay to witness future starship launches.

This place was great, we were really looking for a place that was not expensive but was still decent and had everything we needed. Our stay was perfect, recommend this place to everyone! If we ever come back we will for sure check this place out again. Thank you so much Bob!

Perfect Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. We got to see the Space X rocket launch during our visit! The condo had a perfect view of the launch. The owner had excellent communication. We will definitely be back.

Great location!

Easy walk to the beach!! Loved the location! There were lots of extras such as rafts for pool, wagon, chairs, beach mats, etc. The only downside was that it was a little run down. There are some repairs that need done, but suited us fine for the price.

From northern climate and place was perfect for what I was looking for. I worked from the condo and had no issues with internet the whole month I was there. I had zero complaints with the property.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Bob was always answering our questions. We love SPI and will be back and will stay at this condo again.it felt like home away home. It was a clean and comfortable condo. We spent our home moon here . The Scaramozis

It is a great location for beach lovers of all ages there are always lots of fun things going on at south padre island and why pay double at the schlitterbahn hotel when you can get a condo with a separate bedroom and a full kitchen for half the price.
