Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

The Roses rents with a 7-night minimum with check-in and check-out on Friday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

My husband and I took our kids/grandkids for the weekend, the guest services/check-in were the stars from start to finish. Always patient, friendly and helpful. The kids and their kids stayed in the main house, my husband and I stayed in the "guest" house, loved how convenient that was, allowed PaPa to handle his fantasy football draft with some much needed quiet. Would definitely visit this property again, kids loved the screened in porch, one said "I want to stay here forever" Plenty of room for people to have their own space yet areas where you could spend quality family time when you wanted to huddle as a family. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Great Spot, Great House, Poor Maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Beachwalk! Our family really enjoyed our stay. Mixture of beach and pool is perfect for a family. We had great fun signing up for kayaking, yoga, pickleball and bingo!But this house needs some attention. Too many plumbing issues, broken doors, and a terrible stove!

The Bloom was off the Rose

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The garage door would not open. The gas grills were a mess and broken. The plumbing leaked under the sink. The stove knob was broken. The microwave has a broken piece. The was a lack of towels and sheets. The Beachwalk workers did a good job of fixing the majority of issues, but the owners need to provide a better quality experience.

The Beachwalk Roses are Pretty Sweet

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our week at The Roses! This property has great bones and lots of charm. The location is perfect within the Beachwalk community. A short walk to the tennis court, cafe, pool and Lake Kai. It sits directly across from a park where we played daily wiffle ball! The wrap-around porch is amazing. The house and guest house easily accommodated our group of 14. There were multiple small issues with the house and the maintenance team was quick to respond. Overall, the home could benefit from a refresh all around but it is great of you don’t mind outdated appliances and fixtures.

Our parents requested a vacation in Mi for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. While we didn’t end up in Michigan, Michigan City Indiana, was a beautiful alternative. We stayed at the colorful & vibrant Beachwalk Resort, which offered plenty of activities & charm. The home had a fantastic screened-in wraparound porch & fire pit. Our group of 15 fit comfortably, with a sibling group splitting the 3rd fl, 4 couples occupying 2nd fl, parents enjoying a main fl bedroom w/an attached bath & another couple occupying the guest house. Guest house was fully equipped w/its own amenities, though it has stairs. We contacted the resort after we left regarding an item left & they contacted the next day letting us know it was found.The location was convenient—just a 5 min drive to Washington Beach w/paid parking, easy access & another beach entrance was within walking distance, though a bit more of a trek. We also visited Indiana Dunes National Park, 20 mins away, 40 mins to vistor center. Essentials were nearby including Al’s Supermarket & firewood sold a block away. That said, there were a few downsides: kitchen was disorganized, some broken cookware, & only 1 of 4 grills worked (barely). Guest house lacked cookware but the main house had enough to share. The resort lake is best for kayaking, paddleboarding, ect not swimming but Lake Michigan’s beach is close!Overall this spacious home is great for lg groups, Wed stay again & w/some care & organization to the kitchen it would be better.

Changed houses this year and had some issues with the house, things not working, AC quitting twice, etc. Maintenance responded quickly but the problems were not resolved.

Back again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: New and updated outdoor firepit space was great. Utilized the addition of garage frig for our drinks. There are some tired mattresses and others that are in great shape. The gathering TV room is small but that works for our group. Has doors that close so the TV watchers are separated from the game players at the tables. Great table space for large group that includes tables on screened porch. No coffee maker for k-cups this year. Skillets were difficult to cook with as the coating was worn off and scratched. Can find anything you’ll need in the kitchen. Crib and pack n play available. High chair and booster seat for the little ones needed a big scrub down this year. The large screened porch is a favorite feature for our group. The location is one of the best at Beachwalk. We have stayed in 5 other homes through the years. The bedroom set up works great for our family. Enjoyed our stay and plan to be back at The Roses next year.

It is nice having the golf cart and there is something for everyone to do. I should get a commission from Beachwalk for the amount of people I have told about this place. Vacation at the Roses

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house offered great space in a wonderful location. The grandkids loved having their third floor bedroom and bathroom. The porch was a favorite resting spot but make sure you wear flip flops as the porch floor is quite dirty. And take shoes off before entering the house to avoid spreading the dirt. We loved boing across from the Central Park where the kids loved to play and in easy walking distance to the pool. The kitchen had plenty of dishes for our group of 18 and two dishwashers was really helpful. Plenty of comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the nice fire pit area and the golf cart. We had some problems with the Rose bud apartment above the garage, finding a gas leak from the stove and dryer several days into the trip. It was addressed promptly but both had to be turned off so the family staying there left a few days early. We were reimbursed for two days for that apartment. The staff throughout the complex and main office over the phone were polite and helpful. The facilities throughout the resort were well maintained and so enjoyable for all of our family members. I highly recommend Beachwalk for families wanting to have a fun filled vacation.

Nice property, many amenities, poor house cleaning

Our company made the trip

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation, with a wonderful group of family. The location of our house was ideal. We especially enjoyed the porch. The house could have been much cleaner. There was a dead spider being eaten by ants in the foyer when we came in. The floors. Baseboards &cabinets weren’t as I would expect. The beds and especially the pillows were bad. We loved the huge kitchen it was well equipped. The recycle cans were full when we got there we called on Tuesday & we’re told they would be picked up the next morning but never were. The office staff could not have been better. $20 a day for a training wheel bike is a bit much. I was a great house to entertain in. The other disappointment was the lake was closed to swimming and paddle boarding then the pool closed on Thursday. If I was to recommend this property it would be with a disclaimer . Thank you
