FFO Forced Family Outing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spending time at Reunion is just a continuation of our family tradition of spending time together whether we like it or not. Usually there is some part that each individual enjoys but the point is to be together...rough edges and all. Reunion has worked well for us. Thanks

Cat House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Main house was dirty. management sent staff to reclean. Guest house smelled like cat **** and we were unable to use it even though I was assured that problem had been taken care of. They used an ozone machine on it but that didn't do any good. Food crumbs were left in the trundle beds and someone's medication was left on the night stand. Management was very understanding with our concerns. Although the location was probably the best for the beach, the guest house should be tore down.

Its proximity to the beach walkover is the BEST in the community! Comfortably housed 12 people & still had room for more with 6 bathrooms and the additional cottage is on point!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our large group had fun together and that was the goal. Beaching, playing games ,and especially “Tennessee “. This is a game like tennis but one where any number can play and the ball is hit more than once on one side of the net. Sometimes more than one ball is in play!

The Only Good Thing was the Location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 3rd house we’ve stayed at in Beach walk with our 3 generation family annual vacation. We loved how close it was to the beach & the pool. We couldn’t enjoy the outside areas because of the smell of cat urine, because someone is feeding all the stray cats(& raccoons)next to the garage. Inside the guest house smelled like cat urine too.

Family Camp 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Reunion and Calyspo houses to accommodate our family from across the country. The Reunion and guest house were clean. The location to the beach was excellent. You have to mindful of the traffic. We did have a problem with the AC while we were there that left us sleeping uncomfortably for two nights. We had unseasonable heat of 93 degrees days for three days and the AC couldn't keep up. Other than that, great place, location and accommodations.

Great Location...Not Very Clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the property to be very dirty upon arrival and cleaned it. We probably should have notified the company, but we just cleaned it upon arrival because it was late when we all arrived. It wasn't vacuumed and we kept finding fake nails on the floor. The mattresses and furniture could use some updating. It was a great location- just wish it had been cleaner.

We had a nice time even though the weather wasn’t great all the time.

The table, tennis, pool table, and foosball helped a lot with the fact that it rained one day. The fishing after dinner was a hit with all the kids & they all caught at least one fish. Pool was great on the hot days. Kids played basketball & enjoyed the park. We didn’t have beach towels which were supposed to be included but the staff provided a few more towels. Nice to have an outside tv. The photos were a little misleading. The living room space on the first floor is very small for 20 people. Thankful for the covered porches. We suggest putting some of the tables from the second floor porch on the first floor so people can eat there. Some sleeping rooms did not have enough covers. We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you.

Great location - Dirty house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome location right across from the beach, but the house is very dated, and upon checking in, we had to personally mop floors and wash couch covers and blankets. Very messy home, cluttered and unorganized.

BEST location, but house needs help

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First - this house is the BEST location to the beach! My family absolutely loved it and I’m so so grateful for the experience! However, there were some issues. The first being the beds. The fold out sofa bed upstairs in the guest house is completely lopsided, one of the queen mattresses in the basement is also completely worn in and lopsided, and a trundle bed upstairs is broken. We lost a lot of bed space and I’m thankful one cousin and her family didn’t make it or we would have been in trouble. It’s also confusing why there are trundles in the room when you can’t really fully open them. The organization of the bedrooms could be improved a bit.Second being the INTENSE smell of cat urine in the guest house. For some reason, the owner has the garage door propped open for all the stray cats in the neighborhood. This would be totally fine if the home didn’t reek of cat pee. It’s very off-putting and hard to be in. The freezer in the main house stopped making ice. 2 lights are burnt out in the kitchen ceiling. Sink in downstairs bathroom is leaking. Towel holder in the upstairs bathroom fell off the first hand wash of the weekend. Water filter light in the guest house is red. Middle burners of the larger grill don’t light.Overall we might try another home in the same area unless some of those things get fixed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Reunion House and its Guest House fit our family of 12 nicely. It was nice to be right across the street from Lake Michigan and a short walk or golf cart ride down the short road to the resort clubhouse, Lake Kai, and other resort activities. This resort is super family friendly! Our kids ages ranged from 2-12 (6 kids total), and everyone was able to find things to do.

Framily Vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house had plenty of rooms, bathrooms, and sleeping areas for a group of 17. We had a great time, and overall enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and other areas of Beachwalk. The common areas inside the house are a little tight if you plan on having a lot of kids around. For us, we didn't have great weather so we were inside a lot. Too much furniture, and the rugs were really annoying how they bunched up at entryway doors and when moving around chairs. The main grill was not setup/working for us. Additionally, it would have been nice to have at least one cabinet that could store pantry food instead of clogging up the counters. The washing machine wouldn't drain sometimes. The main park was under construction, and the putting green was in rough shape. Seems like BWVR should have put a little more thought into their facilities management for the cost of rentals during the summer. We definitely plan on going back, but surprised by some of the items mentioned above.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family took a long weekend trip to Michigan City and loved our stay at the Reunion property. The location, space, and amenities were perfect for our family with lots of kids, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to plan a Lake Michigan vacation. We took full advantage of everything the property has, including the firepit, courtyard area, and spacious bedrooms. The Beachwalk community has enough for you to do to spend an extended stay without ever leaving! We will for sure be back

Really enjoyed our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is large and lovely, we had a group of 15 and it was perfect. Plenty of bedding, linens, well-stocked kitchen. Easy access to grocery, Indiana Dunes, downtown Michigan City. There were a few issues with cleaning - in particular, a large chunk of broken glass that was partially under the living room rug and couch. Could have used a more thorough vacuum/look-over prior to our stay. Super convenient that we could text the management office if we had any questions or concerns. Loved the Reunion House overall!
