The stay was great, we loved the area and beautiful gardens. Being able to walk to the beach and the athletic club and local restaurants was great. The condo was comfortable and has everything you need. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler was so helpful! The management was very fast to respond to any questions and took care of an issue we had immediately. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Great place

Lovely, well appointed condo. We'd recommend it to anybody. The Kaihuna Plantation is a beautiful place to vacation.

First time on Kauai

We’ve been to other islands and by far Kauai is our favorite. The condo was everything and more and cannot wait to come back!!

Gorgeous

Stayed here for a wedding that was at the Sheraton. This property did not disappoint! The views and central location were prefect for our vacation. Can’t wait to stay here again

Nice place to stay

We had a nice stay, the place was clean, relatively convenient (we had to walk to the beach! Oh, the horror!), management was responsive to issues (a light burned out, they replaced it promptly). Definitely would stay there again, hope we get the opportunity.

Loved our stay here! The condo had an old Hawaiian vibe but well upkept and clean. Even though we were in the building closest to the road (building 39), we were pleasantly surprised how easy and quick it was to get to the beach. Beautiful grounds for walking. Great communication with the property management team. Friendly neighbors. So glad we stayed at KP323!

Everything was amazing. Superb communication, incredible landscaping and gardens, so close to perfect beach, restaurants and athletic club. Overall we loved everything!

The condo was exactly as advertised. It was very well equipped with everything you could need.

The property is located overlooking the cactus garden with a partial view of the ocean. The gardens are very well maintained.

Great location with private ground floor patio/grass area

Easy parking, short walk to shopping center & beach, convenient ground floor with private patio/grass area. Had hiccup with check-in but was able to resolve fairly quickly.

We loved the option of being able to walk out on our lanai and straight onto the grounds. Everything was made easy for us to utilize. The beach accessories were so helpful, the pool facility was beautiful, the towel cards were a great bonus too! Would definitely stay here again!

Kiahuna 323 - Great Place

My wife and I stayed at this VRBO for 10 days and enjoyed our time tremendously. All photos and listing details were exact. The only things that we didn't enjoy were out of our control - construction above us and road noise. Location of this unit is great and super quiet. We would definitely recommend/stay at this place again!

It rained a lot and many of our excursions got cancelled. The roosters wake you up about 2 am. Location is pretty good. Short drive to many good places. The athletic club really needs an adult olny hot tub.

The property was great the only problem we had was the laundry room was close the day we were leaving, we had kids running and slamming doors at all hours of the day and someone was smoking right outside our window non of this is the hosts fault!!!

Great Place

This is our third stay at Kiahuna Plantation. It's a great location. Easy walk to the beach and shopping with restaurants across the street. The unit was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Communication with management was excellent. If you need to do laundry, its not real close to this unit. Also be aware that is closer to a main road which can be quite busy at times. One con is that the pool is not on the property, but acrossthe street. We were aware of this when making our reservation.

The Property is extremely dated with old dingy unclean floors in bathroom and kitchen. Who knows when the last time the carpet was cleaned. There is no air conditioning, the furniture likely 20 to 25 years old and there is one 26 inch TV squeezed between the Kitchen and hallway to the Bedroom. The bed feels like an oak plank. There has been no apparent upgrades to this unit in building that was built in the mid 70’s. It is just a money grab. We would not stay there again if it was fee.

Nice, quiet, clean 1st floor condo

We were very happy with our stay in Kiahuna Plantation. We liked this location because it was much quieter and a little tucked away at the front of the property. With the windows open, we did hear occasional road noise, but nothing bothersome. The pool area was nice and being right by Poipu Beach for the New Year's Eve celebration was wonderful! The only down side was the key card process at the Big Save Market in Koloa was inconvenient. Overall, we were very happy with the property and the amenities offered. The condo is spacious for 2. We hope to be back some day. Mahalo!

Great location, beach and pool at your fingertips

Overall our stay was amazing. The condo is just within walking distance of everything we needed! We took advantage of the Poipu athletic club almost everyday, and had the space we needed for our 7 month old daughter. The Poipu shopping center was just across the street where we got delish gelato and Thai food. The bed and bedding could use updating, and make sure to pack bug spray. I got many mosquito bites (they like my blood) sitting out on the lanai, but my husband was just fine. All small things relative to our relaxing and enjoyable stay! The management company was fantastic with communication, and we didn’t need to rely on them for any issues. Keep up the great customer service :)

Kiahunan Plantation one bedroom condo

Nice older condo. Easy in and out. Close to the restaurants and shops in Whaler’s. No pool on premises. Have to go down Poipu Rd. to access pool, gym and cafe. Really nice gym/ pool area but a slight inconvenience to get there across Poipu road. A bit loud with the road noise but nothing that would dissuade me from renting again. TV didn’t work when we arrived and it took a couple of days to get maintenance out to fix it. We’re not on island to watch TV but we do enjoy the occasional game etc. Also found it odd there weren’t any cleaning supplies. Desk says they don’t supply them even though there’s a placard asking you to keep the place clean. We purchased and donated some… All in all, close to where we wanted to be and walking distance to beach sunset. We’ll definitely consider renting again…

Amazing!

We had a beautiful week long stay at this condo! Everything about it was amazing! Very comfortable, and it had everything we needed! The king sized bed was very comfortable, and the condo was super clean! We loved the lanai, and were so happy that there were two lounge chairs along with a table with 4 chairs! We were also so happy to find Tommy Bahama beach chairs...3, and beach umbrellas! You don´t need to bring these to the beach, as the resort provides chairs down at the beach, however, we love Tommy Bahama chairs because they recline, and they are easy to carry down to the beach because of the back pack straps. The walk to the absolutely gorgeous beach only took 5 mintues, and we are in our 60s, so probably even shorter for younger folks! The walk throught the resort grounds is beautiful, and shady!! I cannot say enough about the beach! The waves were incredible, and we were able to snorkel right at our beach...we even got to swim with a sea turtle!! Right down the beach to the left, there is an area where Monk Seals beach themselves, and also sea turtles! It´s just amazing to see them so up close and in their natural habitat!! Although this condo is the farthest from the beach, it is the closest to the Poipu Shopping Village, which is where all the great restaurants, Whaler´s General Store, Starbucks, and gelato shop are!! 2 minute walk...we were there every day!! No worries about not have AC...we never needed it once!! The ocean breeze is amazing!! We will be back!

Convenient location

When we arrived at the property, it was around 8pm, our backup key card didn’t work, the kiosk to get the other key card wasn’t working either, and it said there was no such reservation with the code provided. I contacted management, but they said I couldn’t do anything other than go back to the kiosk and try again. Then mgmt called back and gave us a # to security, who opened the door for us without asking for proof of stay, but was very kind bc we had our 1 year old daughter with us who was extremely cranky being that it was 2am back at home. We had no working key card until the next morning when someone finally responded to our text. That being said, if you need assistance, text before the evening hours as they do not respond in the evening. We weren’t happy about being nearly homeless on our first night in Kauai after an 11 hour flight. Otherwise, the place is nice, convenient and walking distance to the beach. There’s a beautiful garden walk right outside through the back that leads to the beach where there’s a walking path and restaurants. Right across the street is a little shopping center where you can get breakfast and Starbucks. The TV didn’t work, but I didn’t care about that. The carpet gets damp if the fans aren’t on. There’s an ant trail in the kitchen by the garbage pail. Little flies in the bathtub, which is probably from the dampness. But everything else was fine with us. Would I stay here again? Sure! But I’d make sure they check that the key card works first before I arrive.
