A king-size bed makes your tropic dreams come easy, entertainment center features a 27in Cable TV with DVD, AM/FM Radio, and CD player. There is also FREE WI-FI available in this building, so for you that cannot break from the office, or e-mailing with your buddies back home, bring your wi-fi- enabled laptop and have a blast! Great but needs some tweaking

The property was in a great location and all amenities were as listed however the aircon was old and noisy and the shower was difficult to turn on, heat up and pressure was poor.. These things did not stop us from enjoying the place and the lovely island.

Fantastic location!

We have stayed twice at Kathy's rentals in Poipu. Charming, well furnished, very comfortable bed and extra nice bedding. The location is great! 1/2 block to the Beach and short walk to Brenecke's. Kathy lives on site and is always available. Plus, you get to meet the sweet Rita pup and Effie cat. Highly recommend!

Beachside studio retreat

Wonderfully put together suite, comfortable bed (best sleep of our trip), so close to Poipu beach. If felt like staying with family. Kathy greeted me by name and was so helpful when we weren't able to locate the unit after a long day if travel. I only wish we had more time in Kauai to be able to take more advantage of the kitchette and beach access.

Perfect Spot for Earl Morning Turtle Watching

My husband and I stayed here for two nights BEFORE the rest of the family arrived. It was clean and cool and quiet. We were able to get up very early and walk down to the beach to sit with the sea turtles that come up every night. I would stay here again.

Perfect solo getaway

This was the ideal location for me. It was close to the park, the water, restaurants and great walking trails. I loved the patio that received the afternoon sun. Kathy was very helpful with whatever I needed.

Ended too soon

Perfect location, just a short walk to Brennecke’s and Poipu beaches. Unfortunately, we had medical issues and had to leave early. In hindsight, we should have canceled our trip, but no regrets. We hope to come back and experience all that we missed.

Wonderful Stay, At Terrific Location

Perfect location less than a block up from Poipu Beach for snorkeling and Brennecke's Beach for wave action. Sunrises and sunsets both magnificent from the beaches. Accommodations as described and were perfect for two people at a great price. Kathy was very responsive both before and during the trip, letting us know we could check in early! Great Stay!

Great beach access

Great studio getaway. Comfortable bed, was nice not to buy basic condiments for cooking. The induction hotplate was very useful, for a week stay a little bigger fridge would be nice but made do. Beach chairs, boogie board in wash room made heading to the beach easy on the first day. This is a downstairs studio so understand there is noise from the upstairs, after the first night got earplugs and slept well. Great place

Perfect spot for us!

We had an amazing time, it was the perfect location so close to the beach and yet still private!! The perfect place to stay for a couple walking distance to so many fun things! Kathy was so so helpful!

The property was extremely clean and the location is awesome! Just steps away from Poipu Beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely clean studio in a great location!

The studio was very clean and had everything I needed for my short stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach and walking paths. My only caution is that the house has been broken into multiple units and you can hear your neighbors chatting and moving about.

Great location!

The stay is cute and very comfortable! Kitchen is great and had all the amenities we needed. Patio is nice and private. Location is great! Just a short walk to the beach and to a fun restaurant/bar! We would definitely stay here again. We wish we were staying longer to enjoy the location more!

Great location.

Clean and spacious studio. Laundry facilities are in the shed behind the unit. Well equipped unit, 3 houses from the beach. Had some trouble finding our unit and key. Didn’t realize it was the back house and the front door faces away from the street. After roaming around the property we found it. Everything else was great.

Location, location

Walk across the street to Poipu Beach! Kathy is a great hostess. Just about everything you need is in this unit. It doesn't have an oven/cooktop but there is a microwave and hotplate if you feel the need to cook. There are beach chairs, swim noodles and a cooler for you. A beach umbrella would be a nice addition, but we just found some shade on the beach when we needed it. We enjoyed our time here and would gladly return!

We live full time on Kauai and live on a small farm in Kalaheo - 8 miles from Poipu Beach. My husband Ed runs the farm and helps do all our maintenance at Beachside Poipu Hale where the Seaside unit is located.
We are both retired from real jobs to keep busy with our 5 rentals and our farm.

Growing up in Santa Monica California, there was so place better to retire than the beatiful island of Kauai! We bought the property back in the 70's with dreams of retirement here.
