Steps away from Kaanapali Beaches, Papakea Resort offers direct access for guest. Every room includes a fully equipped kitchen for easy self-catering. Restaurants, food trucks and a grocery store, all in walking distance from Resort.

The resort was so lovely and the hosts are great and were very responsive. We had an amazing ocean view that was a dream! Highly recommend staying here.

The resort employees were very nice. All the rooms and applianes where in good condition. The shower should have had handicap rail in them. Also a hand held shower head would be nice.

The place was ok The bed was very uncomfortable and only full sized. Wasn’t happy about the cleaning fee. but ok over all.

It was clean, quiet and had everything we needed . The location with food stores were walking distance. And it isn’t far from Whalers Village where the restaurants are located. I would stay at your place again.

Get away

Nice people, good location. Great views. We enjoyed our stay. Community lounge chairs not in great shape. Several broken straps and in need of cleaning.

Very nice

The property is beautiful! The location is great. The condo could use a deep cleaning and some updates. We had some trouble with in our condo but the property manager was very nice and prompt to work with. We have stayed here before and will be back.

Return Visit

We have stayed at this condo resort 2 years ago and came back. It is very nice location on the ocean with great sunsets and a relaxed vibe. They have tennis and pickleball, mini golf, shuffleboard and pools and hot tubs. Parking is included in the resort fee which is reasonable. The room itself was a nice studio condo. It has a full kitchen, fridge, etc. It is larger than a standard hotel room. The room has some wear but overall it is nice. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

The amenities are all great and we did enjoy the stay. What wasn’t great was being checked into a room, the key not working, and getting security to help. When security knocked and no one answered right away, she let us in. The owners were in there and extremely annoyed since it was 10:15 at night. They gave us the wrong room af the front desk. They had arrived 15 minutes before us. Had we arrived sooner, we would have been settled in a room that we weren’t supposed to be in. It was a very uncomfortable situation.

Great Place

From the pictures we thought we were getting a studio. Turns out to be a one bedroom with Kitchen Bar. Bed was nice and firm vs the sinking ones we have had before. Great view of the ocean and surrounding ponds and pools from the lani. AC cooled the whole place then just used the ceiling fan at night. Walking distance to the board walk along the beach and restaurants. Would for sure pick the same unit. Very quite around the whole complex. No wild parties while we there.

Great studio with view

D203 is a Great studio with video across koi ponds, pool, and then ocean. Even though building is further away from ocean, you have a great view, and with this being a pretty small complex ocean and pool is just a couple minute stroll. Also, never a steak-out for ocean side or pool side chairs. Kitchen is very well equipped with all that you could need, and everything Is clean. Deck has a table with four chairs and a lounge chair. Also has two boogie boards, 2 camp chairs, a beach chair, and pool towels. Easy to reserve courts for tennis, pickle ball, and ocean side shuffleboard. Was a glitch at check in, but owner super fast to respond and texted me back immediately, and called the front desk to get things straightened out.

Can’t beat the view!

We stayed here along with some of our friends (who stayed in other units) while in town for a wedding. Our friends all got one bedroom units, but we knew we wanted to wake up looking at the ocean. Although the place was pretty vintage, all of our friends who visited our unit wish that they had done things our way. We’d do it the same way next time!

Nice Oceanfront Condo

The condo was nice and clean. The property was nice with two pools and hot tubs right on the water. We loved being able to cook in the room and use the in-room washer and dryer. There is no restaurant/bar on the property unfortunately, but we were able to walk to multiple other neighbor resorts and enjoy their restaurants/bars. Our only complaints would be that the shower would run out of water really quickly every time we showered and the bed was like a Murphy bed and was therefore a bit small for 2 people.

One of our honeymoon stops in Maui

Beautiful, clean, fully furnished unit with lanai facing the ocean. Entire resort property was very nice. No beach, but adjacent to public beach access. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Kaanapali.
