Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things that could be improved.The biggest issue was cleanliness. The floors were very dirty, as well as the rug in the living room. Also, for a group of 8 people, there were only two towels, which was definitely not enough.The furniture is quite old and could use an update. There are nightstands next to the beds, but there are no small rugs beside the beds. Since the floors are tiled, it is very uncomfortable, especially in the morning, to step barefoot directly onto the cold tile.The kitchen appliances were newer and different from the ones shown in the listing photos. However, the washer and dryer were old, and the dryer was not working. After we contacted the host, they responded quickly and brought us new appliances, which we really appreciated.Overall, we had a good stay. With better floor and rug cleaning, enough towels for all guests, updated furniture, and small bedside rugs, the place would be much more comfortable and enjoyable.

I’m sorry cleanliness and the towel shortage fell short of expectations — we’ll address this with our housekeeping team, deep-clean the floors and living room rug, and make sure towel inventory meets occupancy for 8 guests. Thank you for reporting the washer/dryer; I’m glad we were able to replace the appliances quickly. We’ll also review the listing photos for accuracy and discuss furniture updates and adding bedside rugs with the property team to improve comfort. Nice condo. Up to date. Beds were good. Stunning view of the beach and esp. sunset this time of year. Pools are nice.

Beautiful View!

Our room had a beautiful view of the coast. It was also easy walking distance to a cute downtown area with shopping and night life.

Nice location

The stay was nice. It was my family’s first vacation to Panama City Beach and we enjoyed it. Loved how there are stores and restaurants close by and plenty to do. Pier Park is amazing. Prepare to wait for long times and possibly be stuck in elevator, but my family and I had a blast.

Annual Family Vacay

Super clean upon check in! The view was amazing! Condo was plenty big for our crew! Well stocked! Very comfortable! We loved our stay!! First time at this resort!! We will stay here again!

Very nice just needs some updates/fixes

The room was very nice and comfortable for my family. 5th time staying at the calypso and it never lets me down. However the room does need some work however, the outside door handle on the master bedroom to the balcony was broken, the chairs outside were dirty and one was broken.

Clean and comfortable. Master bed was a little firm but other one was good.

Check in was a little cumbersome and passcode for the door was really hard to remember. Room was great though. Lots to do within walking distance. We had fun.

Vacation

This site was pretty good overall. We had a little issue with the pots and pans. They could be updated! But nothing big! We enjoyed the stay! We love PCB

Beach va-cay

We had a group of 7 for a family get away. Me and my husband, my brother his wife and 3 kiddos. The condo was the perfect size and location. It had a few beach chairs and umbrella in the closet that we also got to use which was a perk, we expected to buy some once there. We had room to relax after long beach days and the kitchen had essentials for cooking. The condo has 2 pools, a bar and a small restaurant attached which was very convenient. My only complaint was the comfort of the beds. All of the beds could use new mattresses! Overall we had a great stay

Beautiful, relaxing and affordable!

The condo is GREAT! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and it was plenty of space to sleep as well as for meal and TV watching , the balcony its also spacious. Kitchen has all you need to prep meals, laundry room (bonus closet) had beach chairs and beach toys it was pleasant surprise. Overall it was a nice place to stay, my family and I will definitely will be rent again. Restaurants , shopping and entertainment a few steps away. Tip; if you would like to avoid the crowded grocery store , you can place your order on line(up to 7 days before your arrival) from Walmart just across the street and pick them up, saves you time and $$! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Baseball tournament

Over all it was good. The people responded to my questions promptly and gave me assistance when I needed it. The parking situation could be improved but I’m not sure your company has any say so in that area. Once you figured it out it was ok just took some adjustment

Great place but needs better cleaning service.

The property was as described. The view was amazing. The cleanliness was terrible. The floors were filthy, the balcony had something sticky all over it that we had to clean before sitting out there, the beds had sand in them as well, and we discovered a use condom hanging from a lamp in the master bedroom. The management did come and remove the condom but we swept and cleaned the floors ourselves and cleaned the beds prior to being able to get in them the first evening.

Great Location

The Condo communication could be told a little better as to check . As going to parking deck 3 to unload your vehicle . the Condo had unclean dishes , floors were not moped . the location of where the condo was at was perfect . Property owner does not answer emails I tried several tiems to see if I could a do a early check -in no responds.

HVAC

The HVAC unit was not working properly. It stayed 81 degrees. Called maintenance and I had to turn off breaker and wait 10 minutes. This worked for the first day only. Next 3 days was hot.

Furnishings

The owner add property management company need to visit this unit and Update!! furniture and appliances! Old washer dryer- no heat in dryer- cabinets need restocks- only 4 cups for 12 people- etc. -someone took items home or threw out! Furniture on balcony old-used- broken-cracked kitchen floor tiles- - otherwise- view beautiful location beautiful! It was slightly inconvenient to get to room from parking garage- plan to walk!!

Enjoyed our stay, would recommend

First time to PCB. Happy with resort, location was perfect, and the condo was nice. Happy to say no issues with elevators, as I had read with other resorts. Condo was perfect for our large group. The floors, however, were very dirty and the washer/dryer needs replaced. The dryer would not dry clothes without running several times. Only other complaint would be the security staff at the Calypso Resort. They were very rude when trying to load and unload your vehicle. Vacationers do not want to start their vacation, after spending thousands of dollars on a room and a long drive, with someone being rude because it takes you a while to unload.

Dryer didn't work, there were only 1 set towels.

Everything was nice except the dryer didn't work so I called it in and was told someone would be there the next day. Well no one showed up. Then there were only 1 set up of towels. So I had to go purchase some towels. The dryer really messed me up

Needs work

The patio furniture was rusted and falling apart. The first day we were there and on the balcony, we noticed someone had been eating an orange and there was pulp and orange on the patio, no big deal. When we went to bed that night and pulled the blankets back on one side of the bed on the sheet with some more orange pulp and sand. Needless to say the bed lens had not been changed so we were washing all of the blankets and sheets the first night. Next morning we gather around the table and one of the chairs Had a leg that was falling off when you pulled the chair out from the table plus the cushions on the chairs were very stained. When coming from the balcony into the main bedroom, the door handle to the sliding door only had one screw holding it.We have stayed in other condos at the Calypso and they were very nice, but this one could use a little attention was very disappointed in the patio furniture and the lack of cleanliness in the Bedding
