This one-room hideaway offers a private dock, full kitchen, and direct water access for swimming, boating, fishing, and relaxing. Ideal for writers, couples, and anyone needing a quiet nature reset, this property is available for short, exclusive stays.
The cabin sleeps up to 2 adults on two comfortable fold-flat sofas with soft linens and pillows provided. There is a dining area, Roku smart TV, and a cozy layout that works well for one or two people. A window air conditioner is installed during July and August to keep the space cool and comfortable. Minimum stay is 1 night; maximum stay is 3 nights.
The full kitchen includes an oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge, and cookware. Whether you're grilling outside or cooking indoors, you’ll have what you need to prepare anything from casual meals to gourmet dishes. The deck features a BBQ grill and table for two. At the water’s edge, enjoy the picnic table, lawn chairs, and fire pit for outdoor meals or sunset lounging. Guests are welcome to bring dry wood for the fire.
Boaters are welcome. You may launch your small boat or kayak at the nearby public boat ramp and tie it up at your private dock just steps from the cabin. For your convenience, a two-person kayak is available on site for guest use. Swim or fish right from the dock, or simply relax with your morning coffee over the water.
Bathroom and shower information:
Inside the cabin is an easy-to-use incinerator toilet that safely burns waste using paper liners. Follow instructions provided for safe and effective use. The bathroom also includes a small sink.
There is no interior shower. An outdoor shower is available on the deck from May through September. The property is not connected to a septic system. Water is hand-delivered and limited, so conservation is important. Guests must use provided eco-safe soaps for both personal use and dishwashing. There is no dishwasher, so dishes must be washed by hand.
