Been coming to Sunset almost entire life and started staying with Pat 2 years ago when we branched off and got own house for our lil family. We will stay here every year for our annual family trip as long as he’ll have us! The location is great, near boardwalk but not on top of it. Great layout, updated kitchen, comfy beds, ocean front, excellent host and a great screened in porch. Can’t ask for more!

Pat is a great host and always available if needed. The house is clean and the kitchen is well set for us to cook meals for our family. We enjoy staying at the "Escape" house. Our granddaughter calls it her beach house! We look forward to returning in the near future.

This was a great home for our family right on the beach. Loved the fire pit area. Only suggestion is bath towels & linens could use an upgrade. Towels & washcloths were very thin and worn.

We had a wonderful stay at this property, the owner was very kind and flexible with us and had great communication. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect. The escape was clean. We appreciated being provided a great start of toilet paper, garbage bags, soap,etc. communication with the host was great. We had no issues during our stay. Pat even emailed us afterwards to ask if we wanted a stuffed elephant left behind mailed back to us; very thoughtful. 10/10.

Perfect location and ideal home for us for a 2 week vacation. I love this style of classic beach house, even more so because it's oceanfront with the protection of our ecologically important dunes. I also love the open living space, huge kitchen, high ceilings, porches, and outdoor shower. The owner is a fabulous person and excellent communicator.

We really enjoyed our vacation, and the house was beautiful on the inside. A nice short walk to the beach! Amenities were great, and we had all we needed. The house was clean. My only recommendation would be to clean the living room cushions and all bedspreads. They are due for a refresh! The host was great!

House is great! Right on the dunes, bridge to the beach is right next door. Great kitchen, well-stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. Solid supply of coffee for the Keurig, and importantly, a decent spice cabinet with some oil, salt, pepper, various stuff you always need. A/C works well, bathrooms clean and good water pressure and plenty hot (or cold).Good visit, we'll be back!

This is a classic beach house. Location is perfect. Great AC - kept us Northerners nice and cool in the heat. Space was just enough to accommodate our family members.
