This place was beautiful and only a 6 minute walk to the beach! We had a problem with the shower in the primary bedroom. We told the host and the maintenance worker was there within 2 hours to make sure it was fixed. We were able to check in smoothly and grab our passes early. The hosts were super helpful and made it easy. It was also clean and a wonderful place to stay. We definitely will try to stay here again. One of the best Vacation Rental businesses I’ve worked with down in Hilton Head.

Perfect Family Vacation

This place was great! Close to everything in Palmetto Dunes and a short walk to the beach. The pool was clean and lots of wildlife to spot in and around the lagoon. The place was clean and well kept. Plenty of room for everyone and big tables for family dining. Will definitely book again!

The house is as described and perfectly located. We loved the 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the General Store for ice cream cones after a hot day at the beach! There is a lot of room for your group to spread out. When you are tired of the beach, you can take a dip in the pool! The management was quick to respond to our needs.

Location makes the trip

Very spacious, comfortable home with great proximity to the beach and other amenities. We rented bikes and found it was a very short, easy ride to the beach On Palmetto Dunes‘ excellent bike trails.. The kids especially enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach and the large deck was a comfortable place to watch them as well as the boaters on the lagoon. Overall a great place to stay.

There are a few changes that should be made to this listing. The bed in the spare bedroom is a full, not a queen. The 2 hours of pickleball is for clinic only. If you want to play, you have to pay. The house itself was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Our biggest issue was the Wi-Fi. We were working remote, so this was a big issue. The TV's are also on the Wi-Fi so watching them was also a challenge. Beachside Getaway was a pleasure to deal with. They were very quick to respond to any issues.

Thank you for the feedback! We have confirmed the spare room bed is a Queen. The tennis is free, we had to straighten out the club house, but all good now! And the wifi issue has been repaired. The internet provider went out and repaired a line leading to the house. - Beachside Getaway

A Great Family Vacation

We had a great stay at 1 St George and were so sad to leave! The house is great for families, including extended families, with separate bathrooms, plenty of beds, and more than enough seating and space. The house was well equipped. We loved the pool and sunroom space the most. We would love to return.

Great Stay w Family

Loved the property. About a half mile from beach so was easy drop off of people & supplies & then parked van at house & rode rented bike back to beach. Loved the private pool at the house. Had 7,6,3,&2 aged grand kids so was good to have pool there for after naps. We thoroughly enjoyed the week.

Clean, Updated, and Spacious

The pool is smaller than you might think, but we had a great time and easily fit 7 people. There was only one roll of paper towels, and it was a small one. The bottom switch in the bathroom for the bunk bed room is a heater, which was cool. Each bedroom has its own full bath. No shared bathroom. Grill was really dirty.

Palmetto Dunes House

Great location, clean, well kept. Bring paper towels, dish soap for the sink. None provided. Dishwasher broke down last day. They sent some right away, but couldn’t get it fixed before left. Understandable. With all that said, I would rent from them again.
