Beautiful Oceanfront Penthouse ~ Incredible Views ~ Pool

Get away from it all at this penthouse oceanfront paradise. The 180-degree views are spectacular from the common areas with a full wall of glass doors! Grab your morning coffee and sit on the expansive deck to watch the colorful sun rise over the horizon. Take a walk down the stairs and your toes are in the white sandy beach. And the beach— with the limited public access — is perfect for shell hunting, fishing, swimming, surfing, or just sitting! Spend the day watching the tide going out of the Inlet creating tide pools to wade in and then watch the tide rise as the waves splash against “The Rocks” - limestone and coquina formations. The beach seems to change every day. Finish your day with dinner — either cooked in your well- equipped kitchen or from one of the great local restaurants — taking in the pink and blue hues as the sun sets on a perfect Summer Haven day.

The third floor walk-up has an open concept living space with volume ceilings is great to gather for dinner after a day on the beach or to watch the big game.

When it is time to rest, the condominium has two large bedrooms -- one bedroom with a king bed and the second with two full size beds. For added flexibility, there is also a large sleeping nook accessed from the living/tv room (see images). The nook has a twin and full bed with a small sitting area.

Summer Haven Beach is located just south of Saint Augustine historic district by about 10 minutes. There are plenty of attractions near the rental – Fort Matanzas, Marineland, Fishing, State Parks, to name a few. If there is more, you are seeking, it is more you shall find. Head into Saint Augustine for some history and shopping. Continue north a bit for Jacksonville, and maybe take in a Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. Possibly a round of golf in Sawgrass Ponte Vedra, or 18 holes at the World Golf Village?

Head south from the vacation rental to hit Flagler Beach, Daytona Beach, and eventually, Cape Canaveral. All within a short drive. Orlando theme parks like Disney and Universal Studios are just a day trip away. Relax at the beach, hit the theme parks, and come back for more relaxation at Crescent Beach.

Amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean. It’s older but well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped. The views are wonderful! The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. The master bedroom shower was very spacious. You do have to climb a lot of stairs to get there, but the ocean view is worth it.

Great location

The property is older and needs a bit of updating, but the location makes up for that issue. The website shows extra beds which were actually in a closet complete with duct work. Two adults slept there which was very challenging. Overall, it’s acceptable for the purposes we had.

Beach to ourselves

It was so quiet and had stunning views of the ocean. We watched the tide come up to our steps and move out into the inlet each day.Beach just steps from our condo.

Beautiful location

The best sunrise view! Lots of room and seating. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is. Close to town and grocery store. I will say be ready for stairs, but it's worth it ! We had a great vacation here!

Location, location, location!!

So, we had a bit of snag with our check in process as we asked for early check in, which was originally confirmed and then we were told we could not check in as early as we wanted and early check in was not guaranteed. This was a little annoying as we had confirmed the early check in the day before we left. That is the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise, the keycode system couldn't have been easier. The only other gripe is the bed mattress in the master was a bit worn out and lumpy. That said, the early check in and the bed were minor blips on the radar once you take everything into account. We had an amazing time and the place is as advertised. Yes, lots of stairs, but we absolutely loved being able to walk right down the stairs onto the beach, and they were only really a pain when bringing suitcases up on the first day. Other than that, not an issue at all... assuming you don't have any elderly folks in your group who can't do stairs...but the view you get from climbing those stairs can't be beat, and the deck is so inviting since you have a roof overhead. Finally, location, location, location... this place is in the coolest, private, chill spot, and not far from restaurants, Publix or even downtown St. Augustine. If you are looking for crowds, go to St. Augustine, but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway where the kids and the dog have the beach mostly to themselves, then come here, you won't regret it! 2023 Beach vacation

Great property. My husband and i stayed with our 19 and 21 year old sons and our two dachshunds. The beach is fantastic and dog friendly. It was not crowded. The covered porch is awesome and i stayed out there most of the time. My sons enjoyed surfing and being in the water. The covered parking was large enough to fit our yukon xl suv. We did not use the pool. The condo was stocked with everything you need for cooking. There were alot of stairs but we knew that from reading other reviews. I would stay there again.

Excellent! blissfully relaxing place to stay!

Wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Condo has everything you need for a great vacation. Private covered balcony makes this idyllic - we spent 95% of our time out there, the shade was great and the height (yes - worth every one of the steps) means there always a beautiful ocean breeze! We will be back for sure!

The location and view are spectacular. The unit is dated and needs some upgrades. Very quiet place !

The view is one of a kind and breathtaking. You cannot beat the patio and will spend most of your time there !! Being able to walk right on the beach was just the best . The beach was just perfect and dog friendly. Very quiet place and great location . Pool was very clean . With that said the unit could use some updating . It was clean but some utensils and cooking supplies are rusty, doors and cabinets are broken, carpet is stained and moldy. The bedding was very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Some towels were spotted with stains and bleach spots but were clean . Some outlets did not work and there is a short in the microwave plug and it worked occasionally. Like a lot of the other reviews say … there are a lot of stairs so make sure to be ready for that , there are a lot .

Perfect for Dogs!

If you’re looking for a place to take your dogs to the beach, this is it!! Easy beach access, not a ton of people, beautiful weather, and the best back porch ever. We loved every minute and wished we could stay longer. 10/10 will definitely be back.

Amazing location for family beach trip

Location is amazing! Dog friendly, private beach with beautiful sand, tide pools and kid friendly waves. The house was fully stocked with all essentials (kitchen items, linens) and more (beach chairs, games, beach toys). The stairs were not a problem and the view was gorgeous. The house had plenty of room for our family of 6 and a quick 10 minute drive to the grocery or delicious pizza. The only minor negative was no grill.

What a great setting on a rather secluded beach!

The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was fantastic and wonderful for walks with our dog. There are some great restaurants within about 5 or 6 miles in either direction. We'll be back!

Our family had another wonderful Thanksgiving at the beach. Beautiful views from the deck with easy access to the beach right from the deck. Can’t wait to come back again.

Paradise

Great home away from home! This was our 3rd year in a row coming to this condo always in October. The view is awesome, the beach is quiet, has everything there you can think of. Plenty of towels, beach toys for the kids, chairs etc etc. Can't wait to plan next year's trip!

You’ll love it

This is a fantastic place to stay! Can’t beat the deck and the view. We watched the sunrise each morning in pjs, with a cup of coffee in hand right off the porch or from the beach. If you like to stay up late or are a very early riser the stars are beautiful as well. All appliances worked and house was basically as expected. Hurricane Ian hit right before we came which apparently interfered with some of the cleaning that was supposed to be done. Marty responded quickly, offered to send the housekeeper back (I didn’t accept because we were settled in but it was nice to offer), and refunded me a small amount for the cleaning that wasn’t done that I took care of myself. The house is dated but wasn’t claimed to be otherwise. You come to this house for the view and privacy of the beach. The sleeping nook was funny but worked out really well. My two girls (teens) slept in there with my sister who is 35. It grows on you if you have a sense of humor. Just stretch horizontally instead of vertically. It was a good idea for extra sleeping. Cozy:) The pool: we didn’t use it because we preferred the ocean and the sand. I think I saw somewhere it was supposed to be heated but can’t be sure. I am sure though that it was cold. Stairs: There are quite a few but they were definitely doable. You have to consider your own health though. My parents were with us. They are 68 and 70. We were impressed at how well they did. Of course, we didn’t make them go up and down multiple times in a row. We carried up their luggage. The up and down with luggage on the first and last day are the biggest concern. But I enjoyed the exercise. Well I think that’s it. We loved our stay! I would most definitely come back! I’m fact, my 13 yr old daughter said she’d like to go back to that exact spot.

Beautiful Beach Stay

We have been going to Crescent Beach for a while now. We were excited to find another condo on the same beach we have grown accustomed to. This property did not disappoint. It was clean and well maintained. More importantly, the view was fantastic. Hard to beat seeing the beach every morning and only being a staircase away from enjoying the sand. We will definitely be booking another stay in this condo.

Amazing almost private beach.

Nice direct walk down to clean almost secluded beach. Beach is very clean. Beach is dog friendly as well. About 20 minutes from St Augustine. No fast food but a nice Publix and some seafood spots close. Condo is as pictured. Not updated but suited our purpose.
