Charming cottage that is walking distance to lots of nice restaurants and other sights. Very clean and the backyard garden area is so pretty. All the amenities you need including a large gas grill and seating areas in the garden area. Host was very helpful and easy to work with.

Beautiful house! Great location. Parking in Saugatuck can be a challenge so it was so nice to have two parking spots at the house. The owner is very easy to get ahold of and responds promptly. Highly recommend the Shoebox Cottage!

Liz, the owner of this beautiful 3bedroom, 2 full bathroom property , was so easy to communicate with. Most short term rentals say there is a fully stocked kitchen, but most aren’t. The Shoebox Cottage had more than enough frying pans and cookie sheets to make breakfast for the 6 of us. Had a coffee maker/traditional, toaster, microwave & dishwasher. Also had a washer & dryer in case you need that. The beds are comfortable, many towels and wash cloths, the outside area was great and had 3 patio tables and 10 chairs. We have stayed at this location 3 times in the past 10 years and will rent again when we return to Saugatuck. Ample parking and a short walk to all the restaurants, bars, shopping. Thank you Liz, for another great stay at the Shoebox!

Very nice house & convenient location to where we wanted to go. This was more house than we needed as it was only the 2 of us, but would stay here again when we bring the rest of the family Very cozy, clean & well maintained.

Best location in saugatuck
Excellent place to stay, felt like home, clean and had everything we needed. We willl be staying there any time we get to go to the beach.

Great location, great stay
We had such a wonderful time at this house! The location is fantastic and the house has a great amount of space for a family of four. Liz was communicative and a lovely host. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place close to the beach
My wife and I took our 5 and 2 year old here for family vacation. This cottage is great! Close to the lake and walking distance to most of the restaurants and things you would want to do.

Family Celebration
Some of our family was in from Phoenix and we stayed here to celebrate a birthday. It is a beautiful property and close to all the things Saugatuck has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very lovely home- great location. Had everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfy! Light bulbs in upstairs bedroom needed. If the living room had a sectional and a little more comfy seating would have been much better. But overall it was good!
