Join friends and family at the Shoebox Cottage, an idyllic retreat in the heart of Saugatuck, Michigan. This spacious home has been completely renovated inside and out and boasts over 1600 square feet. There are three bedrooms, two full baths, and tiger hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Each bathroom offers double sinks with granite countertops and ceramic tile floors. You can relax outside on the patio or deck and enjoy the peaceful garden and water fountain. This home is clean and tastefully decorated throughout. The Shoebox Cottage is in a location of envy! You’re within walking distance to restaurants, shops, parks, and the harbor. If you are looking to keep active, walk to the historic Chain Ferry, cross the Kalamazoo River and walk to Oval Beach. Oval Beach is noted as one of the top ten beaches in the United States. If you are looking to relax and see the sights take a ride on the Star of Saugatuck, the Harbor Duck, Dune Rides or winery tours. All offer a wonderful experience. Best location in saugatuck

Excellent place to stay, felt like home, clean and had everything we needed. We willl be staying there any time we get to go to the beach.

Beautiful home

The house was perfect for our needs. Decor was beautiful. location couldn't be any better. We were there for a family wedding at the Felt Estate.

Awesome Location

Excellent house with many amenities located in very close walking proximity to all stores and restaurants and bars .Do not need your car to get around town . The house was clean and comfy and decorated very nicely. Will be going back here when we can

Great location, great stay

We had such a wonderful time at this house! The location is fantastic and the house has a great amount of space for a family of four. Liz was communicative and a lovely host. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place close to the beach

My wife and I took our 5 and 2 year old here for family vacation. This cottage is great! Close to the lake and walking distance to most of the restaurants and things you would want to do.

Family Celebration

Some of our family was in from Phoenix and we stayed here to celebrate a birthday. It is a beautiful property and close to all the things Saugatuck has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Awesome spot for access to restaurants, shops, etc. very cute space, lovely outdoor patio/garden. Would’ve loved some more coffee and tea amenities in the house.

Girls Trip

Great stay for six friends. Clean, all amenities provided. Wished we had a kitchen table for cards, but we made do. Great outdoor patio area. Perfect location. Walkable to everything.

Fabulous week in Saugatuck.

We had such a good time staying at Shoebox Cottage. The house was perfect-clean and beautifully furnished, and the location was great. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and outdoor space-a lovely oasis! This is one of the best rentals we have had in our many years of coming to Saugatuck for our family gathering each summer.

Great house! fabulous location!

We had a great weekend with our family. This house had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom was super uncomfortable.

Wonderful Family Thanksgiving

We have stayed in the Shoebox Cottage a couple of times and will go back again soon. The cottage is perfect for our family of four. Extra kudos to the management team who recommended a great spot for our Thanksgiving meal - very thoughtful!

Great Property with Excellent Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Shoebox Cottage. The property was well maintained and stocked with everything we needed for the week. Liz was a great host who was quick to assist via phone call when we first arrived due to some operator error with the door lock/code. The location absolutely cannot be beat as it is in the heart of downtown Saugatuck and within immediate walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. One minor issue was that the shower track in the upstairs guest bath did not glide well at all for the entirety of our visit. Listing photos could also serve to be updated as there appeared to be a mature tree removed and a new fence/gate added. We would highly recommend this property with anyone interested in visiting Saugatuck and will certainly look to stay there again ourselves in the future!

Awesome location!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and we loved it! Nice backyard setup with tables and chairs to relax. You cannot beat the location. Walking distance to all the shops, restaurants etc. Also check out Oval beach while you stay, absolutely beautiful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Highly Recommend

My daughter and I stayed at this property for a an early fall getaway. The house is terrific, very clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect, just a short walk to shops and restaurants. Beds are comfy and the outdoor space was so pretty and relaxing.
