This house was so beautiful and very clean and comfortable! Everyone in my family loved the space. Everything worked great and it had a great proximity to the boardwalk to the beach. The host was awesome at answering any questions that I had about the property.

Fantastic Beach Getaway!

We were thrilled with our visit to the Heavenly Days property! Everything was as advertised, the property was in great condition, and the check-in/check-out/cart rental service was smooth. The family had a great time, and we would definitely recommend this property for families or mid-size groups looking for a great stay at the beach!

We love the house but found several items on the listing were missing. We were supposed to have sleeper sofas / chairs, but there were none. The unit advertised a ping pong table, but that was not there. We really needed the sleepers for flexibility with our large group’s ever changing needs. The golf cart was a huge benefit and access to the beach was super. We had a great time!

Amazing home away from home for a group!

This house was a delight for our group - the layout was perfect. 3 decks and 2 living areas gave us plenty of space to hang out, relax and enjoy the view. Great proximity to the beach & shared pool - golf cart & beach gear rental included was fantastic. Highly recommend - we’d love to come again!

The oven didn’t work and the kitchen sink was stopped up. A maintenance man was sent the next day and resolved the issues. I feel that these things could’ve been resolved before check-in but appreciate the quick response and relatively quick resolution. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback and for your patience at the start of your stay. We're sorry the oven wasn't working and the kitchen sink was clogged when you arrived. That's not how anyone wants to begin a vacation. You're right that these issues should have been caught before check-in. We've shared your comments with our team so we can strengthen our pre-arrival checks and help every guest settle in without a hitch. We're glad our maintenance team got to you quickly and fixed both problems the next day. Thank you for noticing that effort. Caring for our guests means acting fast when something goes wrong, and we're happy it helped turn your stay around. We'd love to welcome you back for another stay in paradise, one that's smooth from the moment you open the door! Life in Paradise Vacation Rentals

Nice comfortable house. It was clean when we arrived. Easy check in/out. Communication was ok, but you had to be sure and call with issues since they dont seem to monitor the VRBO messaging. Location was fantastic, neighborhood was busy but quiet. So close to the beach. The internet was unreliable while we were there. They came and checked it twice, not sure if it was a spectrum issue or a house problem. I would rent this place again for sure.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review — it truly made our day! We're delighted the house felt comfortable and clean from the moment you arrived, and that check-in and check-out were a breeze. Knowing the location worked so well for you, with that wonderful beach so close and a neighborhood that stays busy yet peaceful, warms our hearts. And it means the world to hear you'd happily rent with us again. We also appreciate your honest note on communication. One gentle reminder for next time: please reach out to us directly the moment anything comes up, as our VRBO portal isn't monitored around the clock. A quick call gets us jumping in right away, and there's nothing we'd rather do than make your stay shine. As for the internet — you're so right that it can be unreliable here. Island connectivity, especially during busy stretches, tends to get a little spotty, and our team did their best to track down the cause with those two visits. We'll keep working to make it as steady as possible for every guest who follows. Thank you again for your kindness and your candor — both help us keep improving. It would be an absolute joy to welcome you back anytime. See you next time! -Life in Paradise Team

Awesome

We had a last-minute change in a trip we had planned and searched the Galveston and Corpus area for a house to hold 14. This place was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone, a quick walk or golf cart drive to the beach. Fire on the beach at night AND it was decorated beautifully! Neighbors were all friendly, and it was easy access into town. The only thing we wished it had was another fridge/freezer and a bigger hot water heater. With 14 people we had to stagger our showers a bit and shop more often Otherwise it was amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad that you and your family had an amazing time at this house and were able to find a last minute destination to Port A. Our town has so much to offer from the beach, to restaurants, shops and bars. No better way to get around town than on a golf cart, easy parking and leaves the sand behind out of your personal vehicles. We appreciate your business and look forward to having you back again. Incredible rental, a few issues

This house was perfect for our large family gathering. There is so much living space, and the furniture and layout were comfortable, inviting, and very accommodating of our group. The bonus of an included golf cart made this a real win. We love this house and would gladly stay here again. We had some A/C, washing machine, and ceiling fan issues which presented some inconveniences, but overall, we were very happy with this rental. We would suggest providing box fans for second and third-floor bedrooms. The third floor especially was muggy and hot.

Happy with a few concerns

Our stay was wonderful with a few issues. We had problems with the washing machine that was not working therefore, we had to leave with all our dirty and wet clothes to bring home. I feel that we should be called to discuss this and other issues that will certianly impact our decission to rent this house for 2023.

Great house! So spacious. Just wish there were more restrooms connected to the bedrooms. We were a group of 5 couples. It would have been nice for each couple to have their own, private bathroom.

Pretty place with lots of room

Lovely place with plenty of room for 8 friends to spend a weekend on the beach. All beds were clean and comfortable; everything in the kitchen was great. We loved gabbing on the front porch. The short walk to the beach was delightful. The rental agency was slower than expected in providing me check-in information. They did not know the correct WiFi network or the location of the router. These issues were resolved by ourselves and then the WiFi worked great. The “free” golf cart is a bit of a chore since you have to drive out of your way to visit the office to get the keys to the cart, and if you can’t get keys until morning, whoops, 12 hours of your 24 “free” rental is gone, too bad. It seemed like it would be easy enough to just leave the keys in the house and have people sign releases online? Otherwise the house was lovely and well equipped and I would definitely recommend it for 8-10 people!

Beautiful house close to the beach

We got this house at the last minute after another reservation cancelled due to a broken ac. By the end of the trip, I think we were grateful the other house fell though. This house has a lot of space and was very close to the beach. The golf cart rental ended up being very convenient. Will be coming back!
