Nice property. Five minute walk to beach, right next to the community pool, spacious house, comfortable beds, lots of stairs, water pressure a little low, but overall, a great place.

we had a great time, the house suited us perfectly. The only slight negative we all agreed about was that there were way too many beach-themed nicknacks throughout the house. Hard to find a flat space to set anything down.

We had our annual family trip with our in-laws and family. The elevator was so nice to have because the grandparents do not get around very well. The living/kitchen area was perfect for our large group. Plenty of sleeping areas to make everyone happy! Lots of balcony areas too.The walk to the boardwalk was not bad. We got a golf cart because the grandparents. We enjoyed our stay!

Had a great trip! The house is just as expected and having the pool next door was a huge plus! We had 3 families with us and there was more than enough room for us all. Highly recommend!

Besides being meticulously clean and beautifully furnished , A Shore Thing was so well equipped we didn't need a thing right down to lemon and lime squeezers! Every pot or pan or cooking utensil we reached for to cook our dinners was available.A wonderful experience.Not the ocean view I was execting but it was there. Being able to watch our kids in the pool was the thing that made the location excellent.

We did have to drive in to shop and eat, but that’s OK. The walk to the beach was really close, which was nice. The air conditioner is set on 73; that’s OK. I would’ve liked it a little colder but I understand. Other than that, the house was great, the property management was great. No complaints.

Becca, thank you for that great review! I wish you would have notified us on the thermostat as it does go colder. We have the schedule set for 73 deg but as a guest you are able to override that setting. Enjoy the rest of your summer and come back to the island to visit when you can!

Great location!

Perfect beach home for family vacation! Plenty of room to spread out or get together for a movie night. Home overlooks community swimming pool which was really nice after a day at the beach. Highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing! The property had stunning views, modern amenities, and was spotless. The host was responsive and ensured our comfort. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

Family vacation

Fantastic! House was awesome right next to the pool and a short walk to the beach. Our family all love it and we will definitely be back!

2023 Port A Family vacay

Great family vacation. So far best house we have stayed at in all the years we traveled to at Port A Only set back was issues with beach location and golf carts getting stuck and getting to the area where golf carts are only allowed.

Beautiful Beach Home

“A Shore Thing” is a beautiful beach home with lots of space & beds. It had plenty of seating for dinner & games. Our family enjoyed the space & we’ll be back!

Loved it. HIGHLY recommend renting a golf cart if staying on this property. Very nice and comfortable
