This is an incredibly lovely home. Everything is comfortable, clean, and of good quality. That last sounds silly to mention but it's so nice to stay somewhere with dishes that won't break and comfortable beds with nice sheets and beautiful bedspreads. Art on the walls, cozy couch and chairs, sitting porch for morning conversations. Our family loved every minute we got to stay.

We loved our stay at "The Parsonage". It was everything that was described in the listing and more. The house felt spacious even with seven adults and was well equipped with everything we needed. Our initial concerns turned out to be unfounded, the one shower was aided by the hand held sprayer in the third bathroom. The air conditioner units cooled where and when needed, considering it was July. Parking was no problem with two cars and such a help. We loved being able to walk everywhere. We hiked, biked, and kayaked in Acadia.

The house feels homey and a great location. Would have really liked to have a tv in a more common area so we could gather as a family on rainy days but the house is nice. Beds are comfy. The house is old which gives it a quaint feel but with that, doors don't always close or have locks. We didn't mind that but just be aware. The host provided a lot of great necessities that helped us out like bug spray and even bars of soap. It was very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect house and location

We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor, staying at the Parsonage. The house was beautiful with everything we needed. Location was close to everything downtown and perfect for exploring Acadia and MDI. We would love to come back and stay here again!

Family vacation

Great location in town. Just 2 blocks to Main Street shops, restaurants and harbor. It's short drive to Acadia National Park or you can use the bus system in town for easy access to hiking trails.

Perfect location and house

Family visit to the island. We come yearly and like staying in this area to avoid trying to park in BH. Perfect house for us. Wishes would be more backyard and 2 showers but very doable for 1 teen and 4 adults.

Perfect family getaway.

This home is perfect for a family or group stay in Bar Harbor. Plenty of room to spread out inside the house and it’s in a perfect location to downtown Bar Harbor. It’s a two block walk to all the restaurants and shops. It’s also close to Acadia National Park.

The home was in an ideal location. Close to the Farmer's market, dowtown and churches. The home was tastefully decorated with personal touches throughout. This was truly a home away from home. The kitchen was stocked and very clean! The owner responded quickly when contacted. We already booked for 2026.

Great place to stay!!

We loved staying at the Parsonage!! We were very comfortable in this lovely home. Very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for us to use the bus transportation at the Village Green. We would definitely like to rent here again.

Great house, great location!

This property is an awesome way to experience Bar Harbor and Acadia. Easily walkable to downtown, clean and well appointed with all the amenities. Great indoor and outdoor space. Couldn't ask for more.

We had a wonderful stay at the Parsonage. It’s a beautiful home with many amenities and awesome location. The owners have thought of every need anyone could have while on a family vacation! Will definitely be going back!

We absolutely love staying at the Parsonage!! This is our third year renting this property. The location is perfect, close to the busses at the village green and also close to the downtown area. The home is very comfortable and with three floors it offers privacy too. The home is well stocked and very clean. We also appreciated the children’s toys for our granddaughter. Would definitely rent here again!!!
