This was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Pool was wonderful. House is lovely with great set up for our family with private master suite and great privacy for the teens. House was very well stocked and organized. Jim was a great host! Very responsive and helpful.

The home itself was very nice, spacious, and well-equipped with many of the comforts you would have in your own home. The kitchen and bathrooms were especially well-stocked with everything you might need during your stay.Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by issues with the air conditioning. For two days of our weeklong stay, the AC was not working properly. With outside temperatures reaching close to 90 degrees and indoor temperatures climbing above 80 degrees, the house became extremely uncomfortable. It was difficult to relax and enjoy our time at the property, and sleeping in those conditions was especially unpleasant.On one of the days, the homeowner did send someone out to address the issue. However, on the second day, no one was sent to resolve the problem.While we understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, we feel that a refund for the two days without working air conditioning would have been appropriate, especially considering how much it affected our stay. Unfortunately, no refund or compensation was ever offered.Overall, the home has a lot of great qualities, but having reliable air conditioning in Florida is a necessity, not a luxury. We were disappointed with how the situation was handled and feel that better communication and compensation would have made a significant difference in our experience.

When we were initially advised, we were able to get a technician out the same day, Two days later a follow up visit was necessitated and we were not notified until late in the day and unable to have the service done until the next morning on check-out day. A large potable a/c unit is always available and high speed ceiling fans are permanently installed in every room of the house. The situation has been remedied and a entirely new air conditioning unit has been installed!

Summer getaway

Relaxing Stay!

Nice neighborhood and home layout with guest rooms opposite Master bedroom. Master is large and bathroom is roomy. Comfortable King bed. Hosts are very nice and communication was very easy. Relaxing by the pool with beautiful sunsets. Neighbors are nice.

Beautiful home located in quiet neighborhood. All the amenities you could need. Immaculately maintained, and great pool. Centrally located in Ft Meyers with easy access to Ft Meyers, Sanibel and Captiva beaches.

Best we've had

Besides the layout of the house being great, the landlord was the best we have ever had. They were most thoughtful and had everything to make our stay more pleasant. They were also very welcoming.

Ft Myers family vacation

Outstanding stay at an amazing home. Jim and Susan are amazing hosts who promptly addressed any questions we had. They have the house equipped with about anything you would need from beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Best stay at a VRBO we have had. Would definitely recommend if you are going to stay in the Ft Myers area.

Amazing Getaway!

Jim and Susan have done such a wonderful job on this home away from home!! There were plenty of beach towels, toys and chairs. Everything you need for a great vacation without having to bring it yourself! There were so many thoughtful details and even some little toys and games for the kids! We had a phenomenal stay and would definitely stay here agian!

Greatly enjoyed our stay

The property owners are wonderful. We all were able to work remotely for part of our time which made it much easier. Jim and Susan were great at helping us set up 'work /school stations'. We loved staying here for a few weeks - only wish we could stay longer - we had everything we needed - and the pool was an oasis - much needed break.

Family Vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The house had everything we could have asked for and more! Super clean and great location - we even got to use the beach equipment and bicycles. Jim was great to communicate with and very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely return in the future.

Ft Myers

The house was great. It was fully setup with everything just as if you were at home. It had paper towels tp beach towels beach equipment to use. Pool was nice. Clean and well kept. I give it a 10 Will definitely be back.

Fantastic host & stay

We needed to rent this property quickly due to a family emergency. Jim was so accommodating! Helped get the property ready in time and came regularly to check in on the pool. The house is spacious with lots of space within each room. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and beautiful sunset over the lake. We would definitely stay again!

This place had everything! Really felt comfortable there. There were 4 women and we each had our own bedroom so that was perfect. We played in a golf tournament practically right across the street so the location was wonderful. We loved all of the extras that were there too. It was stark bare. It had games, puzzles, salt and pepper - those things made it feel more like a friends house than a bare bones sterile place. We all liked it so much. Even though we did not use the floats, beach chairs, bikes, etc - very nice that they were there.

Wonderful Stay!

Nice property with beautiful southwest facing lanai with sunsets. Bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms well separated and private. Extremely well organized and probably the best stocked property we have stayed in. Jim was quick to respond to questions/requests. Only negative was poor water pressure in master bedroom shower.

One of the best!!

We have rented many VRBO homes. This home is among the best!! It was like moving into my own home with everything we needed!! Great for the whole family including grandkids. Jim answered the few questions we had quickly. You will not be disappointed with this house.
