Our stay couldn't have been better. The property is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. We spent late afternoons enjoying the large balcony and gazing at the lake and gorgeous sunsets. The neighborhood is quiet and far enough away from town to feel secluded, but only a few miles drive to shops, restaurants, and the lake. We took frequent advantage of the several scenic hiking trails nearby. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Our stay went so smoothly we didn't need any assistance from them. We will return again as soon as we can. Highly recommend!

We visited Lake Tahoe/Reno for a family wedding in June. This house became the icing on the cake! The house was clean, location was great and we woke up each morning wondering and discovering which mountain peakon the lake would have more of a fresh overnight coating of snow. The quiet, beauty and serenity of the house allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. Family members who visited us fell in love with the house and location as much as we did.

Irene and SteveA personal thank you to both Irene and Steve!! There was a fire in our area on the day of check in which threatened our home which had an alert for a possible evacuation. They allowed us to CX our reservation . We were in a bad position to go and their flexability eased our stress considerably.We plan on going later next year. Thank you again.

Beautiful view

Lovely home in a nice location. The view is better than the pictures show. The location is great, near the top of Daggett Pass with a clear view down the mountain to the lake. It is close to stores, South Lake Tahoe, hikes, golfing, etc. The house itself is very comfortable and cozy

My husband and I needed a place to relax while we were passing through the area on a roadtrip. This place is exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place for two, close to all the activities, restaurants, hiking, etc. while still being quiet and of course the spectacular views!! Parking and check in/out were a breeze and the hosts were very welcoming and available if needed. Also an easy area to get an uber down into town.

This place has stunning views of the lake and sunset and is at the top of kingsbury grade where it’s nice and quiet and away from the bustle of “downtown”. The beds and pillows were comfortable, kitchen had all the utensils and supplies we needed (coffee maker, sugar, etc), and the back patio was so relaxing. I will note the listing says air conditioning which is why we booked this place but there was just one swamp cooler in the master bedroom. We were fine with fans opened windows since it got colder at night (mid June) but if that’s a deal breaker it’s good to note!

Unbeatable Location.

If you want the best views of the lake with the best sunset of Lake Tahoe this place is the be. Steve and Irene were awesome hosts, everything we needed was stocked and everything was clean. Couldn’t ask for a better place and hosts. If you don’t mind being about 10-15 min away from the crowd with views to make up for it then this is the place. I would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular views...

This was a very nice and comfortable cabin on top of a mountain. Great views when the smoke clears from all the forest fires. Would recommend to couples just wanting to relax.
