The cabin was just as expected. It was very clean and cozy. I particularly loved sitting on the deck while listening to the brook behind me. The cabin was in a great location between Hendersonville and Brevard. Highly recommend

The quiet location was a perfect place to come to at the end of the day. I was in town for work and wanted to stay away from the traffic and noise close to the AVL airport. Penrose was a nice and quiet and not for from Brevard for food and groceries.

It was great for us and our dog, we felt comfortable and happy with our stay as well. They got run was clean and well taken care of, as well as everything inside.

The place was clean and well appointed with appropriate bath, cookware and laundry supplies. I appreciated the extra spices in the kitchen! The host was quick to respond, and the check-in/check-out was very easy.

Everything was as described. The rooms were clean. We didn’t use the hot tub. Weill stocked kitchen. Host answered our questions promptly. We had a nice stay.

Location is great - close to Brevard and all the outdoor things we wanted to do. This cabin was very clean and charming. There are some updates that could be made to flooring and cabinets but the furniture/beds were very comfortable. We chose this cabin because it was pet friendly and we had our 60# dog with us. He loved hanging out on the porch but there is no yard due to the steepness of the lot. Walks had to be on a leash on the street, where there isn't much shoulder either. We enjoyed the hot tub but the neighbors could see us so it wasn't very private.

Thanks for your review, we're glad you enjoyed it. We are planning a kitchen/bathroom remodel, hopefully early 2027. There is a trellis around the hot tub for privacy.

Super cute cabin. You come in on the bottom floor with the extra family room,queen bedroom and a full bath, small in size but perfect to rinse off before and after the hot tub. Head up the stairs to a roomy living/dining area, kitchen is fully stocked, the view is so pretty and the creek next to the cabin can be heard from both decks. Cabin is close to shopping & restaurants. Will definitely come back.

A very nice place convenient to cities, sites (waterfalls, etc.), shopping, while still out in the woods. Appreciated that all roads to the place were paved. The host was extremely quick in responding to my inquiries. The calm setting on the porch was perfect for morning coffee, and all day long. Will definitely be going back again.

We loved the Stoney Brook Cottage. The listing was completely accurate. The home was nice, easy to get to and convenient to so many things. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was very nice. The kitchen could have used some spoons and dish towels. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was close to things we wanted to see.

The hot tub was nice, felt like we were in a tree house! The house provided all we needed. Although the little house needs some love... it is tired. The upstairs bed was comfortable.
