Beautiful surroundings

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is basic but the property is beautiful. Fire pit with a view of the mountains and the town below. Pleanty of hiking and all leavels within a 5-30min drive. Many close beautiful waterfalls.

Great spot

Wish we had a more time to spend there. Had vehicle troubles and the owners were great working with us. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful views

We had a great time at this place. We woke up to deer eating the yard and the views are breath taking. We were on top of the mountain looking down into the valley. Great sunrises and were able to unwind by a fire at the fire pit. We’re writing a couple miles to local trails and 3 nice waterfalls

Thanksgiving 2024

We stayed here for a week of MTB riding. The cabin was as advertised and perfectly located near the DuPont trail heads. We liked the secluded feel.

This is our 3rd booking with this property and you can’t beat the seclusion and that gorgeous view! It’s a nostalgic piece of property that we will continue to visit as much as we possibly can!

Can’t beat the view

My husband and I loved this rustic property. You truly cannot beat the view. It’s quiet and secluded yet close enough to activities should you not wish to stay at the cabin during the day. We will be back!

Peaceful getaway

Loved the tranquil comfortable stay at the Hubbard’s place. A great spirit about it, with everything we needed for taking a break in the mountains. Great location for exploring DuPont and seeing surrounding beauties. Would definitely return!

Birthday Getwaway!

One of our favorite getaways! So peaceful with breathtaking views! Close to hiking trails, close but far enough away from eateries and grocery needs! Had a pleasant encounter with mama bear and her cub! Our first time here and if you are looking for a hidden gem, we highly recommend and hope to come back soon! 5 stars!

Peaceful cabin close to DuPont

Looking at the great views

Wonderful place to stay our son wanted to go camping no spaces available so this place was like you was camping. It’s in the woods. It’s quiet. It’s got fire pit. You’re at the end of the road in Woods. It was really really spectacular. We really enjoyed ourselves. The views are wonderful everything was really great

Great mountain getaway

Loved it. The views are breathtaking. Hosts made the place feel very hospitable and welcoming. Wonderful porch and beds were comfortable. We plan to return!

Trip to Brevard

We stayed in this adorable cabin on our trip to Brevard! We hiked to waterfalls by day and ate dinner both nights at The Square Root! Then we enjoyed our evenings at the cabin! Gorgeous view and comfy, homey, clean stay!!!

Weekend getaway

The view was gorgeous, very quiet and isolated and loved the swing on the porch. I spent all of my time there if we were at the cabin. The cabin was clean but is dated. It smells old upon entering and could use some updates such as bathroom. It doesn't have central air however once closed up and fans going it cooled down quickly and nice and didn't notice any odor as much. We must have been close to a farm because sometimes when wind would blow certain direction could smell it. I don't have a problem with it but some may, to me wasn't overpowering, just noticeable. The owner was great to communicate with a prompt response. There were a few maps and brochures about the area which were a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. The stay was overall very pleasant and would recommend.

Relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting

Weekend mountain retreat

This property is so wonderful! The house is tucked away from neighbors and we had total privacy. The photos of the views do not do it justice. Woke up every day to coffee on the deck and used the fire ring for a lovely night in. We would definitely come back!
