Great home in a great location! Had everything you could think of needing and some extras like oscillating fans & lots of games to choose from. Beautiful yard with a creek & fire pit. Wonderful screened in back porch.

Beautiful home & property, clean, peaceful, & cozy! The perfect spot to enjoy all the activity the Brevard/Hendersonville/Asheville area has to offer! Karen was a gracious host & was very easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

The house was clean and stocked very well. We had everything we needed! We loved the screened deck, creek, and fire pit. Even though the house is very close to the road, it feels private thanks to the trees and vegetation. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is because of the road noise. Thankfully the peaceful sound of the creek helped!

This was our second time. We love this cabin. Clean, beautifully furnished, great yard. We especially love the screened in porch at the back and the gentle little creek that runs behind it.

Great location. Clean. Comfortable bed in master, we didn't use the other room. We really enjoyed the porch! Host was easy to work with and communicated well.

This was a great little place, easy to find & close to town. It was very clean, the king size bed was very comfy & it sits about 5 steps to a small creek running right outside the enclosed porch. We enjoyed our stay.

Great experience from start to finish. Good communication with the owners. Very comfortable, clean, charming. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch, the creek out back, and the wood stove. We are already looking at dates to come again.

We had a great experience at the mountain escape. We loved hanging out on the porch relaxing,enjoying the creek just feet away. It was very quiet and private, would definitely stay at Karen’s place again!

Spring Break

Had a sweet time here as a family—hiked during the day and enjoyed the fire pit and small creek in the evenings. Great proximity to DuPont, Pisgah, downtown Brevard, and Hendersonville.

It is a nice place , kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom needs a little help with baby spiders everywhere and a bit of mold on a tub

The cabin was cute and very clean. It had everything we needed for a week-long stay. It is located close to town off a paved road for easy access. We have stayed in cabins that were very difficult to get to on steep gravel roads, so we appreciated the easy access to this one. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family.

Relax in the Cabin

Close to Pisgah National Forest and Brevard and a peaceful location. Screen porch beside stream was very relaxing.

Excellent location! Close to downtown Brevard and lots of great hiking! The cabin was perfect. Very clean and cozy. Enjoyed the sounds of the creek from the screened back porch and while sitting by the fire pit. Cabin was well stocked and one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. Would definitely stay here again. It was exactly what we wanted for a chill Thanksgiving in the mountains.

10 out of 10!! We can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s a great value. Perfect location right beside a creek - I had the most relaxing afternoons sitting on the screened porch, reading and listening to the creek. My husband loved the fully stocked fire pit. And the location couldn’t be better for waterfalls hunting. The hosts are great too.

Peaceful

We stayed here for the comfort and peace that the space offered. We recommend it any who enjoy sitting around a fire and nature. Being close to town was a plus.

Place was great, just a little closer to the road than I like to be, but sound of creek helped with the road noise. Overall it was just like it was described. Very clean and cozy. Communication with the host was very easy, she responded back in a reasonable time. Would stay again.
