2025 was a great year for us and I want to thank all our guest for choosing Beach Happy and taking such good care of the house, we had 100% 5 star guest !!! Avon was first called Kinnakeet, the first settlers were Algonquian Indians, the Post Office in 1883 changed the name to Avon, do not know why! Beach Happy is a semi-ocean front property located on the secluded North End of Avon, NC. Beach Happy offers perfect 360° views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound. The ground level of the property offers covered parking, capable of fitting more than four vehicles under the house. Additionally, the property offers an outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, and park grill on the grounds. Beach Happy is 2 stories, sitting over 20 feet off the ground. The first floor houses four bedrooms, each having access to a full bathroom. The second floor houses the living quarters of the home, providing a kitchen, bar seating, kitchen table, dining table, living room, sitting room, and playroom. Both floors provide wrap around decks, offering views of both the ocean and sound at each level, with ample seating and outdoor furniture on both floors. The playroom is stocked with books and games for children of all ages, including a foosball table. Beach Happy is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a beach access ramp only thirty feet from the property. Finally, Beach Happy is situated close to popular wind surfing locations, shopping, restaurants, and other water excursion destinations. Book now! No pets. Check in is 4 PM Check out is 9 AM. Please read cancellation rules and we do not provide sheets or towels.
If you are renting for extending weeks, I reserve the right to check on house . RELAX, WORK REMOTELY while looking at the ocean!

My family had an amazing time at beach happy. Loved the ocean and sunset views. Close to the beach access and restaurants. Brenda was easy to get in touch with if we needed anything.

Lovely, clean home, with a very short walk from the beach! We could see both the ocean and the sound from the living space, which was a treat. The kids enjoyed the puzzles and game room. Brenda was quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. Highly recommend!

This was my third time staying at Beach Happy, and I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere else! The house is terrific, comfortably sized and with everything you need for the week. I love sitting on the porches, listening to the birds and waves, or watching kite boarders in the sound. Brenda is a fabulous host, great communicator, and goes out of her way to make sure everything is as it should be for your stay. Many thanks, Brenda, for another great visit! I’m ready to book next year.

We loved staying at Beach Happy. Very conveniently located to the beach and the attractions of Avon. It was great to be able to see both the sound and ocean from the house. Great spaces for kids to stay entertained. An excellent family beach house. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, very clean, with fabulous ocean and sound views! Truly just a few steps to the beach access, with a wide, clean beach that was nearly empty during our stay. We also spent plenty of time enjoying the newly refurbished upper deck and new deck chairs. Brenda was helpful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay at BEACH HAPPY

Second trip staying at this home and great experience both occasions. Perfect house location with grocery and bait shops close while also being central located between north and south beaches. Communication with the host Brenda is always stellar from beginning to end of the trip. Would highly recommend BEACH HAPPY!

Happy Getaway!

Brenda was super nice and easy to communicate with throughout process, from booking to checking out and it made it a stress-free rental, which I greatly appreciate. The house and location was great and we would definitely stay again!

Spring break family trip

Property was as advertised. House was clean and had plenty of room for our group. Kids loved the game room and all of the games, basketball goal was a plus. Kitchen had everything we needed and grocery store was not far away. Would stay there again.

Beach Happy

Beach Happy is a great location for easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the games, and home-y feel the property had to offer. Brenda was easy to communicate with and offered tips.

Great place! Better view!

Great house! Perfect size for the amount of people we had, and really met all of our needs. Couldn’t be but a 2 minute walk to the beach, loved it!

We loved this house!!! Very spacious for our family of 7. The views from all sides of the house were beautiful! The beach was very wide and was not crowded, a lot of open space. Brenda was fantastic to communicate with and made me feel at home in her house. We hope to be back next year!
