SEMI OCEAN FRONT 5 BEDROOM COTTAGE HAS OCEAN VIEW FROM NEW TOP DECK!

SAILFISH IN AVON is a lovely 5 bedroom beach cottage located on an ocean front cul de sac that is seconds away from beach access. You do not have to cross a street to go over the dunes.! Walk out the front door of Sailfish, go to the street, (S. Beachcomber) turn to your right and go north on S. Beachcomber). Go past the next door neighbor' s house and the wooden walkway to the beach is right after the neighbor s house. Turn right and go over the dunes on the wooden walkway to the lovely beach. We also accept pets. There is a pet fee. Part of our renovation this year is new flooring. NO carpet anywhere except for the stairs.
OUR OTHER RENOVATION includes NEWLY CONSTRUCTED. OUTSIDE STAIRS AND DECKS! We also have all stainless steel kitchen appliances. We have a Keurig coffee pot as well as a Mr. Coffee.
ITEMS YOU MUST BRING:
Please be advised that you must bring your own sheets and pillowcases for 3 queen, and 4 twin beds. We supply quilts and bedspreads. Also bring your own towels, both bath and beach.
Please bring personal, washer and dishwasher soaps plus shampoo.
.Avon is a great village with a Food Lion, ice cream shops, gift shops, Studio 12 for pottery painting and terrific restaurants. We also have a new CANDY STORE! Come spread your blanket on our gorgeous beach. You are also within walking distance (3/4 mile on the beach) of the Avon Pier.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SEPTEMBER THRU APRIL IS A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM AND MAY THRU AUGUST IS A 7 NIGHT MINIMUM. PLEASE TEXT US IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for all of us. One bedroom with queen upstairs with bathroom. The rest downstairs with 2 bathrooms. Perfect for the young children and their parents. Steps were a little challenging but we made it. The walk to beach was one house down it is also a walk up stairs and down over dunes then to water. But we did it toting kids and all our beach items. We walked for ice cream every night. Location was perfect. Would highly recommend.

My family and I have stayed here for 7 years. It’s clean and exactly as described. The upgrades over the last few years have been wonderful. If ever an issue, Ms. Betty is extremely communicative to make it work. My kids love pulling out the puzzles and I love grabbing a few paperback novels left behind for fun beach reads. Tons of room! And as a mama to a big family, I’ve never lacked anything in the kitchen—we cook every night!

The host, Betty, was great. Anything we asked her about or told her was in need of attention, she responded very quickly and took care of it. She stayed in touch to let us know any progress or delays.

Rooms were clean and tidy. They had dressers & nightstands for each bed. The bathrooms, kitchen and common area were also clean and accomodated our group 9 adults between 16 and 72 easily. We walked to an ice cream shop after dinner one night. Grocery store and restaurants were easily accessible. The walk to the beaches just 5 minutes depending on how much gear you take. We definitely recommend this property.

The house was great and comfortably fit us all. Well equiped kitchen with plenty of seating for lounging and eating. Location was good very close to the beach and shops and restaurants, ice cream a short walk across the street. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay. Very close to beach and easy to walk into town. New deck was nice and the house had everything that we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach was easily accessed, kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials, beds were comfortable, & new deck gave us an ocean view. We were pleasently surprise by the outside shower. A good time was had by all!! Thanks for sharing your house with us.

I loved it and my family had a great time. I liked the closeness to the beach. My family only wished their was a pool. But overall we had a great time hope to do it again soon.

Nice, clean place to stay while at Avon. Very spacious and comfortable.

We are a group of fishermen and have been to obx many times. This house fit the bill in every way. I would happily stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
