This Green Coastal Bungalow has two bedrooms. There is a Queen bed in each room. Private Kitchenette is also available. There is Couch with pullout bed, Flat screen, TV with sports and movie channels. Palapa with picnic tables to relax at sunset. Walk to Coastal Que (the best barbecue in this part of Texas) next door. Matagorda Harbor is less than a minute away and beach is 5 min away. There is also a large parking lot to park your boat. Walking distance to nightlife spots like Poco Playa, Silver Tuna, The Cove and Pluggers Pub. If you would like to do some fishing, give us a call. We do guided fishing trips daily. Discount at Matagorda Outfitters when staying with us.

Very high price

I enjoyed the overall stay although it was pretty steep on the price for just one night. It was half of what I pay for monthly Morgage. It also had no low lighting such as lamps, or night lights so unless the overhead lights were on it was pitch black. The TV I never could get to work. It was on Roku but I was told they used Direct TV. Also, no internet was a big issue. I could have used the Roku at least if I had a way to access internet. The owner was very kind to let me check in early due to my displacement. I was very appreciative in that. It was comfortable.

Short stay

Unfortunately we unloaded our stuff and hrs later decided we should leave due to weather but the rental was clean and in convenient location. Nice area for BBQing and playing dominoes with the family. Worth the money.

True fishing/hunting cabin

My husband, my 7 year old, and I needed a quick place to stay for one night and this place was great. Two beds, a bathroom, and a comfortable couch. Location was good, we were able to check in early, it was clean, and that BBQ shack next door is legit. It's a simple place with no oven/stove so as long as you don't need that then this place will meet your needs.

Enjoyed it

Like it because it is close to everything in town. It accommodated 3 of us just fine. Had a minor toilet problem, but Mr Grimes got it taken care of in a timely manner. He was easy to get ahold of with any questions. This was my second time to stay at this property.

Great cabin for quick off-season stay

Our host was quick to answer questions and make recommendations to eat and find the necessities. The cabin was clean and ready for our one night stay, it had all the basics we needed for a quick crash-pad while in-town for a memorial. My family and I were there in winter (and an unusually cold weekend in Gorda at that) so had the heat on- it did have a tendency to get warmer in the bedrooms faster than expected, so if staying in the off-season bring layers and keep the heat lower than you’d think to. Overall a quiet and clean spot for a quick turn-around trip, we look forward to bringing the whole family back during the summer season and staying again.

Perfect location

Great place to stay and minutes from the harbor . Host was quick with any responses , so this is a must stay place if your in Matagorda .

It was good for a one night stay

Easy to find. Quite accomodations. Very minimal in amenities. No paper products, paper towels, on one roll of toilet paper, ran out during stay and luckily we bought a roll of paper towels before that happened.... It's a new building, so that was nice. But don't forget to bring your paper products. Only Direct tv, thought it said it had movie channels, Netflix, etc.., but didn't have any. Otherwise it was good.

Perfect place

This was a perfect place for our group. We stayed at for one night while in Matagorda doing some duck hunting. We’re able to check in early after our hunt. Simple/clean place with everything you need.

Perfect Getaway Rental

This vacation rental was perfect for our small family, we only needed it for 1 night for a surprise birthday party down the road and it had everything we needed! It was clean and had an excellent outdoor area and plenty of parking!... The wife and I have already planned to stay again after our experience here. Joel responds quickly and had no issues with the rental! I would recommend this to my family and friends for a getaway.
