Welcome to the Cedar. A little retro feel to this creekside one bedroom, one bath that sleeps 4...full kitchen, laundry and sweet little side yard. Queen size bed in bedroom as well as queen size sofa couch in living room. Fully renovated with new appliances, beautiful bedding and detail around every corner. The Cedar is one of six cottages, part of Creektown Cottages where you get your own private space as well as share an outdoor space with a community farm table, extra outdoor seating and a BBQ. Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Grass Valley perfect for those exploring the foothills. Great for families, weekend getaways & extended stay for business.

Historic Grass Valley has so much to offer from arts, to music to hiking and water sports. Hosts have gathered local information on things to do and places to go and have binders in each cottage for your use.

Hosts live in the area and they are available by phone or email.

Amazing coffee shops, breweries, restaurants and shopping all with in walking distance. Bus line right next door.

Other kitchen items: cutting mats, silverware, cooking utensils, Keurig coffee maker with pods, French press, tea kettle, mixing bowls, wine glasses, coffee mugs, toaster, blender & microwave.

Convenient and cute getaway!

The host was very responsive and friendly. The Cedar is next to the creek which sounds very relaxing from the porch. I love the option to use the outdoor furniture or center common area. It was very clean upon arrival. All dishes are hand washed and check out clean up process is very minimal.

Adorable and so centrally located!

We’d stayed at a different cottage on the property, so we knew what to expect - and we loved it as much as last time! So centrally located we never moved the car once we got there. Bed was SO comfortable, and while we were mostly out of the house all day it was so well equipped to cook dinner if we’d wanted to. Excellent alternative to the downtown hotels - it’s your own cute little home for a weekend!

Wonderful Cottage

I can’t say enough about this place. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to staying there again next time we are in town checking out another cottage. It was quaint, extremely clean and nicely decorated. The Cottage contained everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. Highly recommend staying on this property.

So Perfect

The cottages are absolutely perfect. They have everything you need, decorated cute, and very clean. We loved our stay and it was so nice to have family stay in the next unit so we all are close, but also have our own space. While we didn't use the courtyard this trip, it would be absolutely perfect for nice days and if several friends/family stayed at the cottages. Thanks for everything!

Lovely!

These cottages are wonderful! The decor and furnishings are charming, comfortable and stocked with all of the comforts of home. We have high standards for cleanliness and these cottages have been spotless each time we’ve stayed. The owners/managers are super responsive and pleasant to work with. Check in and out is a breeze. The location is walkable to all that the charming town of Grass Valley offers and close to the freeway to access other quaint towns. We highly recommend!

Great cottage

The cottage was newly renovated and everything was high quality! Walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and shops. Only down side is close to freeway but still a great place to stay. They did well making it a nice area around the cottages.

Craig & Lore are long time residents of Nevada County. Both moved here in the 70's and have raised their kids here and are now enjoying grandkids. They love traveling and spending time with their friends and family. As a contractor and Real Estate Agent they have been a great team together...buying and renovating many homes and commercial buildings. These Cottages are one of their many favorites. You will see the pride in their work in every detail through out this property.
