We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and the bed was super comfortable. The only issue we had was that we arrived after dark and it’s so dark up there that it was hard to read the signs. But once we were settled in, it was amazing!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend stay here for her birthday! The cabin is very close to great river spots. We spent all day at the river, came back for dinner, and soaked in the hot tub. Perfect :) the cabin was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! We ate breakfast on the back patio. The fountain back there provided a wonderful noise backdrop for the weekend. We look forward to coming back next year! Thank you!

Fabulous little private hideaway in gorgeous, quiet setting, only 3 miles from the heart of Nevada City. Clean, well-appointed, spacious for two, with a wonderfully private hot tub and impressive and delightful waterfall feature (!) out the door from the bedroom. Very comfortable bed, parking next to the cottage, good wifi connection and close to restaurants, shops and services. Excellent communication from great hosts. We’ll be back.

It was a cute size cabin, however, the furniture was very worn and outdated. The bedroom was overcrowded and not much space to use in the closet. The hosts were very accomodating and easy to contact.

We had a fantastic mini family getaway in Baby Bear. Even though we crammed two kids in last minute, the host was extremely accomodating and our stay was amazing. It was hard to leave.

The little log cabin was perfect for me and my teen daughter. It felt private, the surroundings were beautiful. It was in a perfect location to explore the Yuba and Nevada City. The kitchen was basic but it had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the power went out and we had to go to Grass Valley to purchase a flashlight as there were none in the cabin. It might be a good idea to have one available in the winter months. The cabin is cute and cozy and we would stay there again.

The cabin was perfect and the outside was awesome with the waterfall , pond, and hot tub was amazing with the deer, wild turkey, and the rest of the wildlife. Highly recommend to everyone

Picturesque getaway

Baby bear’s cabin was exactly what my partner and I needed- 4 days of peaceful quiet and relaxation in the woods. The house was clean, quiet and romantic. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

This place was so cute!!

This cabin is so cute and perfect for a couples getaway! It had a hot tub next to a waterfall feature that was super relaxing to fall asleep to at night! Would definitely recommend and would come back!

The cabin is great! We absolutely love it, especially my mother. We have stayed a few times for her birthday now. We only regretted not booking for a third day. Thank you very much for having us. I apologize for leaving my mom’s cheesecake in the fridge when we left.
