McKenzie Mtn Way Chalet

Beautiful location in Bloomingdale with views of Whiteface Mtn and the McKenzie Mtn Range. You and your family and friends can enjoy the secludedness from your busy lives while sitting next to a campfire in the larg fire pit in the yard. Located only 10 mins from Saranac Lake, 20 mins to Lake Placid, and 30 mins to Whiteface Mtn., our home offers many close by outdoor activities and experiences (hiking, biking, boating, swimming, downhill and x-country skiing, skating, sledding, dog sleds, etc)

We allow Pets - Only friendly dogs. Maximum of 2 dogs per stay. If you plan on bringing a dog(s), you MUST get approval first, let me know how many and breed of dog(s). Prior to leaving, especially if you have shedding dogs, please cleanup as much dog hair as possible. If an abundance of dog hair is not cleaned up, you will be charged additional cleaning fee.
No Cats or other animals allowed in house.

Winter wonderland

Beautiful space. Loads of room for extra kids to sleep. 30 minutes from Whiteface. Very private. We loved it.

Pet and Snowmobile friendly

Awesome location, private, plenty of parking and pet friendly. Dogs loved the yard with room to run and we loved being able to snowmobile from the property- no need to haul to trail head just a little road riding to hit the trail system- We rode to Malone, Lake Placid and Saranac lake. Beautiful views and especially sun rises on clear days.

A wonderful place to stay!

The house was in a beautiful setting, close to lots of activities, and super comfortable. It was also great that we could bring our dog along (she really enjoyed the snow:) We would love to visit again in the summer!

Beautiful view and master bath

Enjoyed a few days during the winter on a XC skiing trip. Convenient to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid.

Great place

The place was very clean and exactly as the listing stated. The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions I had. The location was great and close to all the activities we wanted to do. We also loved that they had a large property for my little dig to run and the kids to play. They evenn had dog dishes.

Peaceful, dog-friendly

The cabin is great, everthing you need is there. The view is stunning and it is so peaceful. And it is dog-friendly to boot, with a large property for the pooch to explore. The wild turkeys strolling around were icing on the cake.

Private cabin in the woods

Great cabin to stay in!! Lots of privacy yet close to all. Loved the view of the mountains and deer on the hill every evening!! Great communication with Craig, easy place to find!! .

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is surrounded by nature and it felt so peaceful just relaxing and enjoying the view. The instructions from the host were very clear and he was easy to reach. Location was great, and the house was very well equipped with everything we needed.

July Family Get Together

We enjoyed our time here it was wonderful by having so much room for everyone, campfire, decks to enjoy the Mt. views. We felt like it was our private get-away! So much to do in the area for each day we stayed. We all enjoyed this property so much!

Perfect R&R Get Away

The property is amazing. Very private and quiet but only 10 - 30 minutes from activities and restaurants! If you are looking to recharge, this is the place. The owners are great and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great Adventure

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was meticulously kept and comfortable. We enjoyed snowshoeing at Henry Woods and had a great time in Lake Placid. Hope to be back next winter.
