The Cozy Little Red Cottage Near Amish Country

Whether your trip is for business or pleasure, you'll be able to breathe and relax in our quiet country setting located just minutes from Interstate 77. We're within walking distance to Take the Lead Stables where we have Horse boarding and riding lessons available upon request. Interested in visiting Amish Country or the Football Hall of Fame? We're just a short drive away! Our cottage has 1 bedroom with a Queen size bed and we also have air mattresses available, if needed.

Amazing!!

We had a fantastic time here!! My girls loved the stables and the horses!! We will definitely be back very soon to let the kids ride the horses! The cottage was VERY clean and had everything we needed!! We are already planning our next trip

Perfect Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was quaint, cozy, clean, and just right for the two of us. Being on a horse ranch was fun and the front porch was so relaxing. Very friendly people.

Best overnight stay in Dover

So pleased to have found this Vacation rental by owner. Can’t beat the coziness atmosphere, the people were so pleasant at the Take the Lead Stables. Honestly loved it and would enjoy returning here someday. Jim&Janet

Great cabin!

Just like the pictures, it’s a great cabin and a wonderful place to stay! Clean, quiet, comfortable, and with the comforts of home. If I’m traveling back to the area, I would definitely want to stay here again.

So peaceful and serene

We loved everything about this property. Very clean. The horses being right off of the front porch and being able to visit the horses in their stables was the highlight. There’s so many great things to say about our stay!

A relaxing getaway

My spouse and I enjoyed our time there. The horses were an added bonus. We enjoyed watching a horseback riding training session and were welcomed to wonder around the stable freely to see the horses in their stalls and watch them in their fields . Shopping wasn't far and we visited the Famous Endings Museum and Ernest Warther Museum, which we enjoyed. The Cozy Little Red Cottage is perfectly named.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at the Cozy Little Red Cottage. We had plenty of room; it was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch with our morning coffee and watching the horses. The cottage is close to rail trails, Amish country, and Cuyahoga National Park.

Clean and comfortable

It was very clean and centrally located to all the towns and attractions we wanted to visit. Property owner was great and he even came in at 630 am on a Sunday to jump start our truck when the battery died!

Loved the cozy red cottage

I can’t say that we’ve ever enjoyed a weekend getaway as much as this one. Staying on an active horse ranch submerged us into a whole different world. We learned so much about the horses and looked forward to going and seeing the horses throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!!

22nd anniversary get away

We had a great stay in the Little Red Cottage, and will definitely be staying there again. So quiet and cozy!!! Felt more like home than staying in a motel. We both loved it. I'd give it 5+ stars!!

Perfect for us!

We definitely enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. It was a perfect out-of-the-way getaway, with great accessibility both to Canton and Ohio’s Amish country. It was very clean, in a quiet area, with just the sounds of nature and the horses to enjoy while we were there. A perfect place to (mostly) unplug - we would stay again if in the area.

Peaceful and comfy getaway

The property was private and peaceful. Very comfy for my husband and I for our anniversary trip. Host was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Enjoyed being on the horse farm and seeing all the horses. Definitely will be back again.

Neat cabin

Nice place in the country. Horse farm right next door. It was about 30 minutes away from Walnut Creek. Would definitely stay there again

Nice Cottage in Amish Country

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The property is very nice and secluded. We wish there were some black out curtains because the sun woke us up every morning. The bed was extremely comfortable and firm. We loved visiting Amish country and will be back!

It was a perfect little getaway for us.

It was a perfect little getaway for us, only 30 minutes from home but felt like we truly traveled far due to the surrounding horses and chickens we got to see. The cabin was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed for a cozy New Years Eve/day celebration. Ending our stay with horse riding lessons was the best way to close out our stay! Logan was kind and funny and made the experience very fun!

Heaven on Earth

We were so happy with our Cottage, location perfect, condition, perfect, we had everything we needed & the owner stopped in to check on us to get the tv working. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit family in this area when we come back from Texas for our yearly visit. I loved visiting with the horses & just sitting in the rocking chair outside relaxing was enough for me. Thanks so much we will be back.

Clean Cozy Comfortable

Just what we were looking for. Very clean and well maintained property that we used as a base for exploring Amish country. Also enjoyed rocking on the porch while watching a couple horses graze in the front corral! Thanks for all Tom!

retreat from hustle and bustle of city life

if your looking a place to get away from people and refresh in the quiet stillness but yet still be close enough to go somewhere this is the place..i needed to just get away and recharge by myself and this place was the answer...price beats any other cabin lodging by far ..and being able to visit the horses and walk the property was very calming ...highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet get away in a quaint little cabin/cottage
