Stunning one bedroom condo with private deck overlooking the trout-filled Arkansas River, and is just a few blocks from historic downtown Salida and its many restaurants, shops, art galleries, parks, and outdoor riverfront amphitheater.
Recently built, this 1,300 sq. ft. condo has a firm king bed, a gourmet kitchen, and 2 decks, complete with tables and chairs.
Leave your car in the one-car garage and walk or bike anywhere you want to go in town.
18 miles from Monarch Ski Area

Your host is a local and will either be available throughout your stay, or will designate one of her highly qualified local assistants to be your point of contact.

Want to stay in and cook? You’ll enjoy the well-equipped kitchen and dining in the spacious living area or out on the deck over the river. Or order curbside pick-up or delivery from one of Salida's many nearby restaurants. The deck has morning sunshine and afternoon shade--so it's pretty much perfect all summer long!
Our cleaning standards have always been very high (as you can tell by our reviews), but with the advent of the COVID 19 threat, we've doubled-down our already high disinfecting standards to ensure the safety of our employees, guests, and our entire community.
The area is known as the Heart of the Rockies, and it will beckon you to its mountains, streams, and breathtaking scenery - or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of your deck.
There are hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails located right in and around Salida, and lots more - including the Continental Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail - within a short drive.

Go to the Salida Chamber of Commerce website for more information. Numerous local attractions and events will keep you busy, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of our historic mountain community.

This condo complex has two gas grills in the parking lot that are available for guest use. Instructions for use will be inside the condo.

Home away from home

I want to say this place was such a blessing. It wasnt just beautiful and clean, it was right next to the beautiful river. This place is one of my favs. I grew up here in this town and now being able to bring my family and allow them to grow here in God country is amazing. I will deff be back here and am so greatful how is this place was to get. Thank you so much for sharing ur space with me and my family. 5 starts everywhere.

A great condo in a great location

My wife and I stayed at the condo in October 2024 and had a wonderful time. Salida is a lot of fun. The condo is in a beautiful setting, and a short walk to the center of town. Clean and well-maintained, its a great place to stay.

Our Home Away From Home

This was our 6th stay and we are already thinking about when we can go back. It is our perfect get away 3 hours from home and our most favorite place ever. It truly does feel like home.

Stay in Salida

Our stay here was very enjoyable. Our place was spacoius with lots of big windows and light. We enjoyed being right on the river and spent time on the balcony overlooking the river. For a few days there was a family of mountain sheep across the river in the hills that we watched through binoculars. The kitchen was stocked with lots of everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway for fall colors

Property is nicely furnished, very comfortable & well-maintained. It is within easy walking distance to the downtown area. Nice location on the river. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A Great Place to Stay

We loved everything about staying in this condo, even the walk up! The furnishings are wonderful, the bed was great, the appliances top notch and the balcony a great place to sit and watch the river flow by. Everything we wanted to do and see in Salida was in walking distance, which is a huge plus! The next time we visit Salida, if available, we will plan to stay here! Thanks so much!

A Great Stay

There’s nothing better than having almost everything you want to do within walking distance. Then, when you return to your lodging, being able to sit on the balcony next to the Arkansas River! This condo was perfect for our visit to Salida. Great furnishings and a terrific view to boot. This place is so nice you don’t feel guilty hanging out in it! The only word of caution to prospective renters is you have to bring your belongings up 17 steps. For us, this was no problem at all, but I can imagine there may be some who would struggle with this. As for us, next time we’re in Salida, if this place is available, we know where we will be staying!

The condo was spotless and had all amenities needed. A beautiful setting with two balconies to view the mountains right on the Arkansas River. Great Place! We will return for sure!

River runs through it!

Had great week at this river front condo. It was the perfect place to start and end our fun and active days in and around Salida. Kitchen was well stocked and condo was so comfortable. Hearing sounds of river was wonderful. Great views and location. Would definitely stay again!

Salida condo

This condo is fabulous both inside and out. The unit is beautiful, well-maintained and supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony overlooking the river is wonderful - beautiful view and relaxing sounds of the water below. An easy walk into the historic town and Riverside Park.

This property is very well. Located to town. Heading to River outside your back door was awesome. The bed was a little hard for my liking but overall the property was stupendous..

Very nicely and tastefully done. Location was perfect and having your own garage was wonderful. Everything was in great working order and the owner's management team was wonderful to work with. Seamless with no worries.

Locked out on the balcony!!!

Let me start out by saying, Overall a great stay. But, when we arrived it was around 10:30pm a late arrival. We carried a few things up and when out on the balcony to look at the view with the full moon. We didnt stay long because of the cool temp. When we attempted to open the sliding glass door, it had locked behind us. I attempted to contact the host at 11:30 and 11:45 left messeages both times I also tried to contact a co-host at 11:42 and left a message. After no one called us back with the first two calls. We decided to call 911. Dispatch sent a officer thinking the entrance door was unlocked. Unfortunatly it was not. After looking for access into the beautiful condo, she said she could not access the building. So she called the fire deptment. They arrived shortly and then the officer left. I started the grill to stand by so we could stay warm while the fireman tried to gain access to the condo. Still no message or call from our hosts. after 30 to 45 minutes. We saw, to our suprise, fireman walking out of the bedroom. My partner was so excited to see him she screem they got in. We did not recieve a phone call from anyone. We began to wonder if anyone was around to contact I have stayed in many places using VRBO. I have never not been able to talk directly to a host or manager. After a couple of days I decided to check my e-mail. They had sent us an e-mail at 8:45am the morning after the incident. This truly was an emergency. If I had not had my phone, we would have had to break out a window to gain access to the condo.

Stunningly Beautiful!

The condo was remarkable! Well stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware. Beautifully decorated! Everything that you could want here. And the deck overlooking the river was spectacular! Among my favorite rentals. I will return.
