This perfectly restored and flawlessly maintained 1930's Retro Cottage is your ticket to a stay in the highly sought after Fort Grounds neighborhood of downtown Coeur d'Alene.
Our Charming Cottage is the perfect refuge to whisk your troubles away. The sounds of a flowing water feature, colorful gardens, were all lovingly created to inspire the essence of family and home. This is a place where you might find joy and happiness. The Charming Cottages neighborhood (Fort Grounds) is rich in history and is a dedicated National Historical District. It is located just a few minutes walk from Lake Coeur d,Alene (beaches and parks) and the downtown CDA Resort, shopping, art galleries, restaurants, bar and grills and vibrant nightlife.
The house has been restored and has all modern appliances yet has kept its 1930's ambiance and roots. From the quaint front room to the three bedrooms and spacious and well apportioned kitchen to the nice deck and water feature it offers a quiet get away from all the business of the downtown commercial appeal, yet only a short walk away. Rent kayaks and canoes at the beach, have fun at the parks or hop on CDA's extensive bicycling and running trail just minutes walk from the front door.
A short drive to the east and you are in the renowned Silver valley, a few miles north and you will arrive at Silverwood Theme Park and a little farther you will be a Schweitzer ski area.
Whether your stay is a few days or a week this is your best location to see it all.
