Enjoy breathtaking views and the fresh mountain air in this cozy little condo. Located right on the edge of the mountain, it has amazing views from the private patio. This quaint little condo is the perfect place for a small group or family + your fur baby with a fee, as it sleeps a maximum of 6 people. The one level unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with a tv in each room. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom, and the guest room has a queen sized bed with a bathroom right outside the door. The living area has a sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, TV, and access to the patio. The kitchen has all the appliances you need to cook a nice meal. Want to go on an adventure on the mountain? Try a local restaurant, hike some trails, or go skiing. Regardless of the season our home makes the perfect place for a mountain getaway

We loved our stay here. Clean and easy to get in and out of. Beautiful views above the clouds in the morning.

Very nice

The scenery/view is probably worth the price of admission, but it's a nice, quiet location in mountains with a few good restaurants within walking distance. Also an easy drive to a lot of good places like Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. Whole family loved the place.

Spacious townhome

This rental did not disappoint!!! Warm, clean, spacious!! The views were stunning. Easy to get a hold of a person at the office who answered our questions and very friendly.

Was visiting for a wedding right down the street at the Overlook Barn. The view was beautiful and the little city of Beech Mountain was quaint.A few things that could have been better. The glass sliding door in the first bathroom to the right fell off and we were afraid to touch so we shared showers in the main BR.We couldn't figure how to turn the heat on in the unit and it was cold the weekend of 17-20 April.Lastly, we could not find where to put the trash. We heard of the bear proof trash area but couldn't find it. Still not sure where those bins are. Sadly my mother hauled our bag of trash back to Ohio.Overall, decent stay.

However, we are deeply sorry for the inconveniences that disrupted your family's stay. No one should have to worry about a sliding door coming off its tracks, feeling cold, or having to haul a bag of trash all the way back to Ohio. We truly apologize for the frustration this caused you and your mother. We want to assure you and future guests that we have taken immediate action to address these issues: The Bathroom Door: Our maintenance team has already repaired and securely re-anchored the glass sliding door so it glides safely and smoothly. The Heating System: We have inspected the heating unit to ensure it is fully operational. We are also adding clear, step-by-step thermostat instructions to our digital guest welcome guide and printing a physical copy to leave inside the unit. The Bear-Proof Trash Bins: We apologize that the location of the secure bins was unclear. We have updated our check-out instructions with exact physical descriptions and photos of the bear-proof enclosure to ensure no future guest has to guess where to drop off their trash. We appreciate your patience and your constructive feedback, as it helps us ensure a much more seamless experience for our guests moving forward.

Just Marvelous!

We were there for a wedding at the Overlook Barn. It was very close to the venue. We brought our dog along and it was perfect for the three of us. The weather was not great but when the fog lifted for a few minutes on Saturday, the view was fabulous! Thank you for sharing your condo. We loved it!

Great View

The place had the basics. The view is amazing!!! The heat are floor heaters and was very warm inside when we got there. We ended up turning the heaters off so it was below 80 degrees inside. Please be aware that you need to get dishwasher detergent or dish soap, as you are required to clean the dishes but they do not provide these items.

A comfortable stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to find the condo decorated for the holidays and that was so sweet. Overall, it was not the cleanest, but it wasn't that bad. The toilet was sprayed down with cleaner but they forgot to wipe it down. The couch was pretty dirty with large, water(?) stains on it and just kind of grungy. I actually put a towel down on it to sit on it. I could see this really bothering some people but we were just happy to be away. Overall, I would recommend staying here. We stayed in a different unit a year ago and it was also very nice.

My apology that the unit was not up to your standard. I wish you had contacted us as our policy is to come clean any item that is not up to par. This unit does have a fantastic mountain view and I have emailed the owner that a new sofa is needed. THanks BB
