About this space

Enjoy being surrounded by the mountain's beauty in this lovely, family-friendly 3/2 home. We are 5 minutes from the slopes of Ski Beech and near everything Beech has to offer: skiing, snowboarding, sledding, tubing, mountain biking, breweries, coffee, Brick Oven Pizza, Fred's, hiking trails and so much more. Choose to have a relaxing time or an exciting adventure on Beech Mountain. We are dedicated to providing you with all the information and support you'll need to have a stress-free stay.
The space
While this family-friendly house is set up for nine ,there is an available queen size inflatable mattress that could accommodate two additional guests. Other accommodations are one queen size bed in the first-floor bedroom, one king size bed in second floor master bedroom, and a twin over full size bunk bed with a full size futon convertible couch in second floor loft bedroom.
We know that our dogs are family too! If you would like to bring your well-behaved, flea-free, house-broken dogs, we are happy to have them - no more than 2 dogs, each under 50 lbs. Please tell us about your dog when booking. We do ask that you are diligent picking up after your dogs and keeping them leashed at all times. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Be sure to take your dog to Bark Park on the mountain so they can have plenty of space to run. No other pets permitted.

The main roads are paved and plowed in the winter, but 4-wheel drive or snow chains are required. Heavy snow will offer you great skiing but will make driving very challenging and treacherous without them. Come prepared. Snow chains are readily available in Banner Elk.

You will have easy access into the house with Keyless entry provided via your own keycode prior to your arrival.

Please note that there are steps up back door deck side and a flight of steps up to the master bedroom, bathroom and loft bedroom.

Absolutely beautiful home in such a peaceful setting! So close to the ski hill where we went to see a concert in the summer. Fully stocked home. Lovely amenities and great hosts! I highly recommend staying here!

Been renting on Beech for over 30 years. This was one of the best houses we rented. Location was convenient and quiet. Kitchen had everything and then some! Comfy beds and nice deck area. Would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone.

Perfect place for a last minute girls weekend! The hosts were very responsive and kind. We got to feed deer in the yard out of our hands and even pet one of them. Magical experience for all of us! Highly recommend the 5601 Mountain Top Bar for anyone that is visiting, the views were stunning and it's a quick drive from the house

House is exactly as described in the listing. Great location, very clean and comfortable and well stocked. We saw deer on the property almost daily. We didn’t have children with us, but the loft area is adorable! Would definitely stay again.

Great Location, Clean Home, Short Drive to Ski Hills

This property was exactly what was advertised! Great location and perfect for our family. The house was well appointed and lovely. Jamie was very responsive and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again. Easy drive to Beech Mountain slopes and restaurants.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, well stocked with essentials, and a beautiful home. I highly recommend this property! The home owner is attentive and is an excellent communicator.

It was amazing. Kids had so much fun. There were some hiccups having to get the new dishwasher in but they were very communicative and it was seamless.

Perfect house for our skiing trip

The house was perfect for our stay. Clean, comfortable and big enough. Our favorite thing about this house is the deer that would come to visit us everyday. The house isn’t far from Beech Mountain. Communication with the owner was great. We highly recommend this house.

You won’t regret it

Our group stayed here to ski at Beech Mtn Resort in mid-late December and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our host, Jaime responded to us almost immediately every time we reached out. Cleanliness, spaciousness, check in/out, Jaime’s responsiveness, the location of the house compared to the resort, and many more factors played into a perfect vacation for us. If you’re thinking about staying here I would recommend it 10 out of 10 times.

Nice, but!

Like so many properties that af Advertise “mountain view”, it must mean in the winter when there are no leaves on the trees. There were no Mountain View’s because of the trees. They should be trimmed if a view is advertised.

Ski weekend

I would recommend this property highly. This is the best stocked property that we have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything that you could need for meal preparation , baking etc. We were 4 adults and 2 children which was a perfect amount for the property. Everything was clean and we loved the hot tub being right outside the door. No need to trudge through the yard or snow to get there. It’s very close to Beech Mountain but when you read that you need 4wd believe it because if there’s snow and you do not have it then you are going nowhere. The owners were very responsive and you can tell that they have put a lot of love and comfort into their home. The bonus was the deer that came to the door daily. We gave them apples, carrots and strawberries and they took them right out of the kids hands. All in all a wonderland. We will be back.
